  1. That was the one where we just scrapped into 4th and beat Birmingham in the final? Have they forgiven us for that yet?
  2. Well at 7.15 I voted and when you do it shows you the results at the time. After 628 votes it was 75.5% for changing to aggregate bonus point.
  3. Yes, in theory it sounds not a bad idea. But I would say Peterborough a better neutral (Prem) track although that would favour Glasgow lol. Although if they agreed what they have changed it to in the winter, bet there would have been a fixture backlog!
  4. Still think it should be done over a weekend like Fri - Glasgow Sat - Leicester Sun - Poole or Fri - Poole Sat - Leicester Sun- Glasgow.
  5. Not really such a thing as a neutral track though with all the doubling up. If it stayed at Sheffield, Leicester have an advantage with 2 Sheffield riders in their team.
  6. I would have thought if you email them and explain that you don't have a twitter account and how you would have voted, I'm sure they would include it. Though a twitter account is easy enough to set up if you wanted to vote that way.
  7. CHAMPIONSHIP promoters are considering a change to the league scoring system for 2023 – and want supporters to have their say on whether to go ahead. Promoters are looking into options for simplifying the league table, which would also mean a return for the aggregate bonus point. The aggregate point, which still operates elsewhere in Europe, is awarded to the team with the highest score across home and away matches between two clubs. This gives teams additional incentive to score as many points as possible in the ‘first leg’ and can often add excitement to the return fixture even if the match itself is already won. Under the new proposal, the league scoring would be amended to two points for a win (home or away), one point to each club for a draw, and one aggregate point for the team winning over the two legs. We will be running a poll on @SpeedwayGB Twitter, which will close on Friday evening, where the options will be: Existing league scoring (keep things as they are) New league scoring (including aggregate point) The poll will open at 6pm on Monday August 15, and close at 6pm on Friday August 19. We look forward to seeing your feedback. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/championship/championship-2023-your-vote/
  8. I'm gonna pull out the JD card I'm afraid! How old was he when he suddenly clicked 26/28? Not everyone progresses at the rate people expect.
  9. Yeah, they have redone The Jungle Book recently, so I would have thought so. If the DJ won't play the Glasgow song he not gonna play that! lol
  10. Guests for Plymouth are: Richie Worrall Paco Castagna Kyle Howarth R/R for MPT Late fitness test for Harry McGurk.
  11. Everyone has a bad meeting. At least he knows how to team ride though
  12. They did originally have a guest. Not sure who it was though.
  13. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_(slang) Seeing as you are having trouble using google yourself! Now can I get back to watching my favourite rider, thanks!
  14. Okay, thanks! Assuming they are connected with a Coventry NL team or junior races?
  15. As I thought you don't know what the word karen means. Maybe you should Google words first if you are unsure of their meaning.
  16. As if you even know what that means! Hopefully you don't considering it is often used as a racist term.
  17. They are okay for Championship, but GP is whole other ball game.
  18. Also Basso's mindset is to go as fast as he can. Prob why some crazy moments on track this season. Someone gonna have to tell him not to do that at Plymouth, otherwise there will be carnage.
  19. Prob would be if allowed Weds nights in the Prem. Crowds were low when ran on a Thurs/Mon.
