Far be it for me to defend Brady as he is not my favourite Poole rider and I always get accused of bashing him on social media but he'd already beaten Jack and won heat 5 fair comfortably. Maybe Middlo thought if he gated he was the most likely to hold off JD.

Why should they need motivation? Surely being in the play offs is motivation enough! Glad to see you know what Middlo is thinking. Somerset could win at Poole if they put their mind to it. But their plan A was a bit defensive, so they have to attack now, which is what you should do anyway not sit on a lead and hope for the best!

Also didn't Klindt say Somerset was his favourite track but isn't anymore? Why is it so different now to when they were in the league below?

The league table counts them in when deciding the playoffs, could be a different set of teams if took all the TS over a whole season out. Wolves prob be in it for starters .So not fair on them.
