  1. See what we saved you by not letting you have Fridays? We are all heart.
  2. It's off it's off it's off. When is this weather going to relent?
  3. I agree. Let's wait till the weather gets a damn sight warmer and drier and more predictable before we start proclaiming this is the end.
  4. Thanks macca you said it all for me. I'm not a regular speedway attender. Twice so far this season and nothing currently planned. I want to be reasonably sure the meeting will be on before I drive more than an hour to get to a track. I was far from convinced tonight's would be on. If I lived close to my team it might be a bit different. So I'm sorry I didn't give my money to ippo tonight and my support to Paco, but the pull of seeing the Caddy get sorted was too much to resist. If only speedway could regularly provide the same sort of edge of the seat drama, all tracks would be flourishing. But Paco did his bit - too many of the ippo team didn't seem to.
  5. Yep hope the weather doesn't spoil it. Know what you mean about BWD but he did fine at Eastbourne. Crowd is low because it's the final episode of Line of Duty obviously.
  6. If Facebook posts are correct, a tough night has maybe just got a fair bit tougher. Dan Bewley is riding for Belle Vue instead of us and our replacement is Ben Basford a Cradley 3 point reserve. .
  7. Right - decision made. Staying at home to watch the Caddy getting his just desserts or maybe he won't. So Paco will have to do without my support again. Mind you, watching the rain cloud activity on the radar site I think it might be either a damp one at Ippo or even off. Sorry macca - some other time.
  8. Well it is looking more likely that I'll stick with the television tomorrow but going forward if you are stuck for transport to get to foxholes and it's a meeting that I'm going to, I could give you a lift - I come up the A12 to that roundabout.
  9. Glad to have you on board the LofD bus. It really is an epic series. I fear for Steve Arnott tomorrow! Yes I could probably watch it online at foxholes but you can't really afford to miss a minute of it let alone 15. And it's a 90 minute episode so I would end up locked in the car park! I'm still torn but given the temperature at the moment I think I may be leaning slightly towards staying at home in the warm. I was hoping the Sky meeting tonight would have built my enthusiasm to go along to ippo tomorrow but I fear the weather ensured the opposite effect. Where is it you live?
  10. Not necessarily forums. Sometimes the writers talk (online) about what the plot actually meant!! You obviously don't watch Line of Duty?
  11. Tight match I reckon. I'll be happy with a win and some points for our bottom 3.
  12. Tough decision this one. I've seen Somerzet on most of their recent visits to Foxhole, always expecting good close matches. Pretty much every time I have been disappointed and Rebs have been humped!! Thursday is yet another of those matches, but it's also the final episode of this series of Line of Duty. Probably the best tv drama series in years. Decisions decisions. Yes I could record LofD and watch it another day but that's not the same is it? All bar the 500 at Ippo will already know the outcome by then and the online discussions about what it all actually meant will have finished. I can't even rely on the weather to help me out. Looks like it will be dry tomorrow but cold again of course. Hell what to do?
  13. Not really true about Nokia. They are currently on the acquisition trail - http://company.nokia.com/en/news/press-releases/2016/04/26/nokia-plans-to-acquire-withings-to-accelerate-entry-into-digital-health
  14. You should have used a bucket. Unless you were trying to measure it.
