Get in there quick!! Mind you I think it has a lot of plastic, glass, metal and concrete mixed in with it!!

Not really similar experience Taps. Cleggy rode a huge number of matches last season across 3 leagues and had a full doubling up season the year before. Mark had only ridden a limited number of times before he came across, as had his little bruv the year before. I am delighted to have both of them back and expect big things from them, especially in the Play-off Final!! I think some folks are probably a little frustrated that Cleggy has so much talent but often seems to struggle to believe it when he goes to away matches. And Mark even picked up a couple of heat 15 gigs at the end of the season.

Sorry guys it's not going to happen. The only Play-off Final derby is likely to be the Mighty Monarchs against the Timid Tigers. -
Or there's going to be 2 feet of shale!

Misery guts!! -
I like Mitchell. Yes he's been around a while but he's not exactly old. And he has suffered horrendous injuries through his career. I think he was averaging in the high 8's in the NL last season after being away for a couple of years or more and I think he even got a maximum late in the season. So compared to a lot of the juniors now in lineups for next season he can probably do ok. And Cleggy is a young lad. Probably has learnt from his decision about missing the last match. And the club are happy to have him back. And how would you feel if he had signed elsewhere and started knocking in double figures? He's scored well on most NL tracks so the ability is there. Just needs a bit more self belief I think.

Edinburgh 1. Sam Masters (8.97) 2. Ricky Wells (7.92) 3. 4. Eric Riss (6.85) 5. Mark Riss (4.00) 6. 7. Total: 27.74 Remaining: 12.26 And then 4.23 for Cleggy leaves 8.03 for the last 2 riders. So maybe 3.0 for Mitch Davey and then a 5 pointer.
-
8.03 is it not?
-
Last season Cleggy averaged 5.47 at home - 6.20 with bonus, so should be able to manage ok at number 2 at home. Away my fag packet says 2.69 - 2.98 with bonus so that needs a lot of improving. But remember that Mark Riss is more than likely going to start at reserve so will be able to help out if Max is struggling. And Mark was improving at a great rate by the end of last season. I would expect Mark and Cleggy to be swapping the reserve berth from time to time. Always depending on who the 5 pointer will be of course!!
-
So Cleggy is back. Needs to be the season he really kicks on. Really talented lad. Just needs to get the bigger tracks sussed. http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/news-centre/article/2016-12-15/max-back-for-his-third-year Finished the last season on 4.34. Presumably he'll get the 2.5% reduction on that?

That's good but I think Julius trumped it!! Or was it Kaiser Kevin? But that Marcus was a Brute.
-
Can't afford one of them. But as our good friend Julius once remarked Veni Vidi Vici.

Is there such a thing as a Troll saw?

You're jumping on the band wagon there Mr. Taps and trying to hack me off but I'm coping and won't fret. You mitre well see me doing a jig when we stuff you at Armadiddle in the Play-off Final and in the reciprocating fixture at Fox Holes. Sadly this will result in some pruning of our trophy cabinet in order to fit in the new Championship one unless it can dovetail with all the others. Mighty Monarchs take a bow.

One lives under a bridge the other on a wall. -
Specsavers branch near you?
-
10 days to think of that. Impressive. Shame that west of is not the same as in the West though. And technically weegieville is more west of Edinburgh than Armadiddle is, cos we are a bit more west south west of the grand capital than weegieville is. .
-
The starting averages for both leagues next season are based on last season's Premier League averages. Sam finished for Edinburgh on 8.97 so starts next season for both Wolves and Edinburgh on 8.97.
-
Yes 8.97 for both under the new system.
-
That's a fair post.
-
Lol. One race!! Not sure anyone outside of weegieville would call Lawson a racer. I only asked an innocent question.
-
R. Lawson = racer?

I blame the schools or was it the parents or maybe Tony Blair or perhaps Maggie Thatcher or the BSPA or Big Jock or Gazza or the BSF? -
How many GPs has Lawson been in?

Weegies were getting humped by us for years. It got boring.
