  1. Could be close, Branflake on a 4.6. Junior
  2. Think there might be an Aussie presence at Sheffield this season.😜 Junior
  3. So any idea what average Premier League Brits that have never ridden the old Elite League before come in on. Cheers Junior
  4. Rumor I heard is that Arthur has done with speedway and looking at getting back onto the road racing scene. Be interesting to see if that's the case. Junior
  5. Big miss if Clegg doesnt return after letting Branford go as well the season before. Is it his or the bosses choice. Junior
  6. Not to mention the total disregard to all the riders that gave there all during the season. I'm hearing that there was discontent towards the end of the season anyway so not surprised. Junior
  7. You tell me mate I read the teams on your website. Junior
  8. Cmon if your going to bullrubbish make it believable, the levers and cable are used to dissenagage the clutch, once its then let back out at the start it doesnt matter if they all fall off it wont dissengage the clutch again unless the lever is pulled back in again. The clutch may not have been working when he came into the pits but that doesnt mean the clutch was slipping as happened to Holder. I may add i dont really care that he did what he did but take it on the chin and move on. Junior
  9. Looks like Ben Morley isn't named , is he injured. Junior
  10. You just never know, Father Christmas just may deliver. Junior
  11. Mr stats man Shads for my record , what would Robs averages be if you include his guest appearances. His away average for Edinburgh lat year was higher than his home as well which I believe to be a good thing. Bens got the talent form videos I've seen and I think next season will be his break through year. Junior
  12. Clegg won't score so Howarth needs to have another good night, no reason he won't though. Junior
  13. I don't think anyone has actually said that Rob is better than Toft , because that's not the case, I think it's more in reference to the fact that people have enjoyed watching Robs progress this season and feel that the club gave him a chance and so will be a part of the clubs future. Junior
  14. Rightio won't waste anymore bandwidth with it then if it's going to be another topic spoilt by frivolous comments. Junior
  15. Good on the lad , but not real sure what relevance it has to Rye House team next season. Junior
  16. If the points limit was 40 next season could go with the same team as this year , would also depend on the reserve rule. The season could have panned out different if they had been able to use Rob earlier, but they finished off well. Junior
  17. Track must have been fairly good Rob did two sub 58 second heats which is the first time I can find anyone going under 58 seconds this season in the NL, is there a NL track record there. Junior
  18. Robs not eligable to ride in place of a number 7 anyway. Junior
  19. Certainly cant see Rob being on that average by the end of the season, although his guest rides not counting for his average will help. Be interesting to know his average for all Rye meetings ridden, maybe some stats guru can help out. Will depend on the reserves rule for next season but would like to think him and Ben have done enough to earn a re call. Junior
  20. Some more good points from Rob, certainly making the most of his late season oppourtunity. Should put him in the minds of teams for next season. Junior
  21. Wont work, you struggled to find one rider per team up to the 3 point standard, so all you are doing is rewarding mediocrity. So riders like Morley and Carr who wont be eligable for NL next season are thrown on the scrap heap as happened to riders like Morris and Branford this year. If the riders are good enough they will make there way in the sport like Bewley , if not they wont. Junior
  22. To be fair neither Ben nor Rob are overnights sensations. I dont personally know Ben , but from his stats he has been around for a while and has started to show good signs and is one of the success of the new no 7 rule. As for Rob he had a good season last year for Edinburgh and Rye and after being made to wait for his crack this year in the PL , has shown how much he has improved. So be patient , you learn more riding than you do sitting on the sidelines injured, some wont make it but others will given time. Junior
