  1. Bandits made hard work of that. Not a good omen for the KOC final. Good to see the Bandits top two in the points as well as Reid Battye after his struggles at Oxford on Friday. Jordan Jenkins clearly not 100% fit and missed the post meeting victory parade, being treated in the medical room. Track looked dry and the dust was flying. Had a good watering after a few heats, and it made some difference. Plymouth on the whole were quicker from the gate, but they are used to a dry, dusty track, so no surprise. What did surprise me was Plymouth not putting Barker in heat 15 instead of Nicholls Good to see so many Plymouth supporters in attendance and they were certainly in good spirits in the Black & Gold after the meeting. A decent speedway meeting with some good races sprinkled amongst the gate and go's. Highlight was Kildermand v Nicholls in heat 6. I and many others sat next to the start/finish line were convinced PK had got the win, but the transponder said different.
  2. Even the biased Moanarchs TV commentators were baffled by the decision
  3. Both injuries, Battye and Kildermand have been caused by other riders. When your lucks out your lucks out
  4. Absolutely outrageous decision to disqualify Kildermand in heat 1. Thompson clearly wiped him out
  5. I was asked several weeks ago and have texted the last few home meetings. Was ready to do the same on Saturday, but alas there was no updater
  6. I've texted updates from a few meetings at Berwick this season and I offered to do this one weeks ago. When it's a televised meeting nobody texts, but someone updates from the televised feed. This week nobody came forward to update, so even if I did text from the meeting it wouldn't have appeared on Speedway Updates
  7. Bandits last three home meetings Oxford (44-46) Glasgow (45-45, lost golden heat) Edinburgh (37-35) Bandits reserves combined average - 3.17 Away reserves combined average - 6.22
  8. Ben Trigger at 2 worries me, doubt he'll score a point. Sam Hagon also well out of form. Harris and Howarth will have a field day and Leon Flint will score well. Glasgow win by 6 points at least.
  9. Glasgow winning sod all with those three weak links at 2, 6 & 7
  10. A win is a win, but I’m not overly convinced. Positives are Dale Wood who is a definite upgrade on Freddie Hodder. I like his tenacity. Kemp is the top guy, no doubt and I’m presently surprised by Cookie, he looks happier than I’ve seen him for ages. His clashes with Charles Wright were fascinating. I’d love to seen Wright as a Bandit one day. Sam Hagon is a real worry though, especially the way Jake Mulford passed him wish ease on the back straight. He’s nowhere near the rider we saw come up with Poole last season. Another gripe is the track. Used to seeing riders go high and wide on bends three and four and swoop down the home straight, but there seems to be little help there at all.
  11. Anyone is entitled to a bad night. And you wonder why everyone hates Poole. Entitled fu*kers
  12. Well, Bandits made hard work of that one. Bastian Borke needs to stay in Denmark and focus on his fitness. He looked lost out there. But for Drew and Cookie this could’ve been embarrassing. Good to see Dale Wood in the points, a definite upgrade on Hodder. Tough weekend ahead with three meetings in three days. I can see the Bandits getting something from Armadale, but I fear they’ll get found out at home to Redcar on Saturday.
