Sorry but your response has baffled me? Don't you think that speedway riders are "professional sportsmen" (in the higher leagues at least)? The territory is surely outlined in the rule books which I would assume states that at any point you may be required to take a drugs test? Your last question re encouraging drug taking doesn't even warrant a reply in my opinion.

I, like you, volunteered and gave up my weekends during the Mason's time in charge and the stadium staff were the ones who cleaned the changing rooms at that time and Brian Buck says this on the Brummies Fans site (03.07.25)..... "I know for a fact that the pits at Perry Barr are washed and swept after before every meeting, and that the changing rooms are washed out by the stadium staff every week".

I believe the changing rooms are cleaned by the greyhounds staff.

Looking at the drone shots of the stadium/track - a beautiful sight - and it makes me so angry that it will all be destroyed for housing when them frickin' flats/apartments in the background are sitting empty.

One thing I find a little puzzling is the programme note "watch this space next week for some big news I have to tell you" which gives the impression of it being a positive - I wonder if Nigel believed he had sorted something and it has since fallen through. Regardless, I add my thanks to Nigel & the rest of the consortium for having the balls to give it a go.

Don't age him he only celebrated his 40th birthday on Dec 6th. I think the main reason for his dropping average was the major surgeries he had on his broken hip injuries.
