  1. Ah well an early bath for the bears
  2. Great match tonight against Berwick for entertainment but can kiss the play offs goodbye if wd are struggling to beat Berwick at home. superb effort from Jason Edwards tonight supported by Charles Wright and Jody Scott. However we cannot keep carrying Simon Lambert , he has to go , I’m sorry.
  3. Massive Shame if this happens , not been to Northside yet but always bump into Worky fans at the GP at Belle Vue and they are great , let’s hope a benefactor comes in.
  4. Does it matter whether he was seeded or a WC , he is in it and riding , the inclusion of the current World No.3 bound to add more people to the attendance. Is Bewley using this meeting as his comeback meeting ?
  5. You cant blame the track , these riders Allen, Edwards and Mulford are just as inconsistent away, its a joke that Bears had to lose a rider as we had two over 8 points, now we have a rider on 9 next rider is on 6 point average , that's been the issue, we wont qualify for the PO's but a decent performance last night against Plymouth, particularly Jody Scott.
  6. So I’ve taken a look at the league table tonight and I don’t see the top four being displaced at this stage which means Redcars season will prob finish in early Sept, the current 7 ( excluding wright and Klindt previously) are too inconsistent , if there are options to include wright and Klindt we need to seriously look at this , if not let’s start planning for next season where if the rules change I would include Wright , Klindt and Jody Scott , the rest would prob benefit from riding elsewhere to further their careers as they seem to be stagnant at Redcar. Granted we still have a chance to retain the BSN trophy but we don’t beat teams by big enough margins to win over two legs particularly if it’s Poole in the final.
  7. To be fair that’s his worse meeting of the season , but their reserves totally dominated ours in fact their whole team scored points against a woeful bears (wright excluded) who’s been out for 4months.
  8. Another abysmal display from Redcar apart from Wright , afraid to say that’s the season over with regard to play offs for the league , the side is just too inconsistent , you don’t win anything with one single heat leader , if the rules permit ( I don’t know) they should have kept Klindt and restructured the team to provide top end strength.

  10. Yes I’m hearing from a source seeing as I don’t have FB and Redcar only put any updates on there now that Charles is back in the team for this weeks match against Workington and Klindt has been dropped, given there was a statement only a week or so ago that Charles couldn’t ride a close cluster of fixtures is he going to be able to take his place at Berwick on Saturday in a crucial semi final ? Timing seems strange and I’m disappointed like most bears fans that room couldn’t be made for both riders so we once again had strength in the crucial heats 13 and 15 , feel this is a mistake but time will tell.
  11. Paid to watch this drivel on BSN, I’m glad I’m not an Edinburgh fan the track looks like gaters paradise , no passing and the stadium facilities look awful. From a Redcar perspective that was pathetic, at least I watched it at home and not paid to go up to Scotland for that one. Getting carried away by the Plymouth result where they had no king or barker and Harris had a mare. Time for Redcar to do something drastic to save the season bring back wright and a 3 pointer and drop Allen or Edwards and Lambert. Harsh but doing nothing i dint think we make play offs.
  12. My first time at Shielfield Park, glad to add another venue to my list but expected more amenities for a football stadium and very little passing , some great rides by Sam masters and Peter Kildemand.
  13. Any guest ? Or R/R great victory for the bears heading for the play offs now
