Holiday Inn - North still had rooms last week when I booked mine, they are rather pricey though at £115.00 per night - plus breakfast!!!!!

I am only passing on what JP said to me in Denmark, the reasons for Eastbourne and Poole were to have the SWC run on the South Coast in the height of the Holiday Season ! Also, there are very strong rumors that all rounds (ALL ROUNDS!) will be 4 rider races!

At the moment there are three countries in the hat ! Poland Great Britain Czecho If Great Britain host it, then it will be held at two tracks, Eastbourne and Poole (words from JP himself) however, at the moment the hot favorite is Czecho ! This is fine by me as I get another week away, not so much fun with Eastie and Poole, can travel back and forth from home for those !

Well! I am not a fan of either of these and personally don't think either will make a good ambasador for the sport.But, if it has to be one of them I would rather have Crumpy win it. 1. I can't even begin to think what the Danes would be like at Copenhagen next year if they had the current world champion, they were a disgrace this year, booing every rider that wasn't Danish. 2. Nicki is dangerous on a bike, even his riding style is agressive and puts the fear of god in my everytime he is in a race with a rider that I do like! 3. I couldn't bear to put up with Rainbow going on about it the whole time, how she said he would do it!!!!!!!! Could be the end of a good friendship there!!! 4. If it can't be Leigh Adams then another Aussie will do for me !!

I do remember the "Monday, Monday" from Reading in the good old days when I seemed to travel up there a lot! The only thing that really reminds me of Poole Speedway is when I hear Piano Music and it takes me back to the 70's sat in the grandstand! Those were the bad days!!!!!!! Also "Rock Lobster" and "LoveShack" remind me of the late 80's with the on-slaught of the Aussies over here - bless them one and all !!
