  1. Ghostie will know I`m sure-but it looks as if it`s 2 points deducted - they were inspected because the track was rubbish so I assume it`s because they couldn`t produce a raceable track.
  2. Don`t want to put a damper on proceedings, however Kanal on their listings at present are not showing it as being on-I do hope they have it and not DK4 for instance Just watched it for the first time and because of where the riders were in front of Martin-I don`t think he could see him until he ploughed into the stricken Leon.
  3. Is it complicated though ? they reward the top team by letting them host the final, and by means of the match points they also reward them so that 1st or 2nd in the grand final secures them the title.
  4. So we move on to the grand final next Wednesday at Holsted Line-up Holsted 4 match points Esbjerg 2 match points Region Varde 1 match point Munkebo Points in the final are winner 4 2nd 3 3rd 2 4th 0
  5. With tonight`s match remaining to complete the regular season the league table after last night looks like this 1 Esbjerg p14 pts 22 2 Holsted p13 pts 21 3 Region Varde p14 pts 19 4 Munkebo p14 pts 18 5 Holstebo p14 pts 16 6 Slangerup p13 pts 15 So tonight has importance for both teams-nothing less than a win for Slangerup will do whereas a win for Holsted will secure top spot and home venue for the final (4 teams match.) Teams-courtesy of Holsted website Holsted 1. Martin Vaculik (A) 2. Patrick Hougaard ( 3. Rasmus Jensen ( 4. Adrian Gomolski © 5. Tommy Pedersen (D) Slangerup 1. Leon Madsen (A) 2. Kenneth Kruse Hansen ( 3. Mikkel Michelsen ( 4. Jesper Søgaard (D) 5. Kenni Nissen © If I am reading the rules right the points carried into the super final are top of league 4pts runners-up 2 pts 3rd 1pt and then points are for winning super-final winner 4 2nd 3 3rd 2 Holsted website are saying that Slangerup cannot reach final whatever happens tonight.
  6. Good news finally-semi`s 1st leg on Tuesday 9th September on "delayed live" at 8pm and one of the 2nd legs on Tuesday 16th at 8.30pm and the other on Wednesday 17th at 8.15pm both "delayed live"
  7. The FIM made a new rule prior to this season that they would only go so far down the challenge non-qualifiers before having their own pick. This season we already have Smolinski (4th) Harris (5th) Batchelor (6th) and MJJ 7th in it at the moment. Edit Andersen is next in line
  8. Just a reminder today`s action Grindsted v Munkebo gete underway at 5pm uk time http://kanalsport.dk/
  9. Table going into tonight-with all teams in action and 6 of them in their final regular season matches 1 Holsted P 12 pts 20 2 Esbjerg P 13 pts 19 3 Region Varde P 13 pts 19 4 Munkebo P13 pts 17 5 Holstebo P13 pts 16 6 Fjelsted P13 pts 12 7 Slangerup P12 pts 12 8 Grindsted P13 pts 9 Other matches tonight Fjelsted v Holsted Slangerup v Holstebo Esbjerg v Region Varde
  10. I fired another another email off to Eurosport the other day " Thanks XXXXX for the prompt reply-I can accept the reasoning behind the decision.just one last question regarding my emails and responses. Are Eurosport aware that the semi-final 2nd legs are split over 2 nights (1 match on each) Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th September(I mentioned this in my first corrected email). I hope you have this covered in your scheduling." This was their reply " Thanks for the info, we have raised this with our programming team in Paris and are awaiting a response." This worries me somewhat-the state of play is that we are missing the QF`s , seeing next Tuesday(9th) semi-final 1st leg on delayed live. seeing the following Tuesday (16th) semi-final 2nd leg match 1 on delayed live and probably ?? missing the Wednesday 17th semi 2nd leg match 2.
  11. Have checked out Bahn.de for trains.Meeting starts 7pm local so finish 10pm or later.i have been to Czestochowa once and the stadium is a little way out of town. What I would do is stay in Czestochowa Friday night and return to Krakow on Saturday-some cheap hotels here http://www.booking.com/index.html?aid=376362;label=booking-name-97*5AB3mj2LkK1b7FsiR8QS36174532762:pl:ta:p1:p2533,000:ac:ap1t1:neg;ws=&gclid=CO2U-dWDwsACFdLKtAodWlIAkg I am sure it will be a cracking meeting as Czestochowa is the best race track in Poland in my opinion.
  12. So they should have phoned Greg in Hospital to ask him what gate he wanted ???-were you on the booze last night ???
  13. Very true-when there is a semi with 2 riders in it- when people start moaning at least I will be able to say told you it would happen

  16. In your case-why run the semi then? you cannot say that because he`s in the semi but doesn`t finish the race-he`s in the final that`s ridiculous. Gorzow GP over 3 hours (Polish) here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_bP6u83FlY&list=PLLP7YA_mSetHtKi0S5qMBzU2Gcoy2FsoQ
  17. And what happens when as I suggested 2 are injured 2 ride-great race that !!!!-and 1 has ef-then 3 in the final ? Maybe as Capt Mainwaring would have said I`m in the realm of fantasy there !!!
  18. Updated table after the round 13 matches were run 1 Rzeszow 23 pts 2 Grudziadz 20pts 3 Lodz 17pts 4 Gniezno 17 pts 5 Rybnik 15pts TV match on Sunday at 12.40 pm uk time for 1pm 1st race is Gniezno v Grudziadz.
  19. Could be a stream of Tonight Dackarna v Indianerna(Swedish) 6pm uk time here http://www.wiziwig.tv/broadcast.php?matchid=276839&part=sports Maybe here http://www.vipleague.se/sports/motorsports.html
  20. And the lack of 2 reserves for the meeting Philip ? As for injured semi-final qualifiers - I agree that a non-qualifier could benefit-but if the rules were changed so everyone knew before the season started that anyone injured who couldn`t take their place would be replaced by the next in line non-qualifier,then at least all the riders would know the score. As for the crowd-there must have been a load of people who bought tickets but didn`t show in that case Bsi says 17,000 capacity, I would say no more than 14,500 there.
  21. Last week of the regular season before the final-2 matches this week. 22. Some observations after a fantastic weekend of GP speedway and visiting Berlin. The racing was top drawer on Saturday but if I heard the announcements correctly there was only one reserve at the meeting-surely Cyfer moved into the meeting early enough for the FIM to get a replacement, Is it about time the FIM also looked at who qualifies for a semi and possible injury to those riders-because one day we could get 2 semi-final qualifiers injured together in the one semi to make it a no race(2 starters only ) . Having now been at both Polish GP`s this season-whilst the pitifully small Bydgoszcz attendance wasn`t repeated here-Gorzow was by no means full, and certainly the price of tickets cannot be the reason-I paid all in £22 for 1st bend and some mates of mine paid £17 only for 3rd bend tickets-amazing value. it set me thinking that the Gollob factor could be one of the main reasons.Kasprzak(apart from in Gorzow) and Hampel don`t have the same appeal to the Polish fans. If Gorzow v Zielona Gora sells out,why has the GP got several 1,000 unsold seats. Maybe Poland is so used to top quality line-ups for their league racing, plus having 3 GP`s a season-they are just not enough of a draw for fans to travel miles to watch it. Finally had a glimpse of Berlin`s history yesterday on a bus tour-and would recommend a visit.
  23. Lovely morning here in Poland although this bookies satchel has been emptied once again- too many advantages to the punters ! ! My time will come Leadsrboard after Gorzow Philipsr £1715 Hilly £ 1105 Psycho3a £ 615 So we move on to Vojens in 2 weeks time
