  1. Speedwaygp.com are reporting that Thomas Gollob is staying at Gorzow for next season so it set me thinking who will be the five that miss out on getting a polish top-flight team.My guess is Harris,Bjarne Pedersen,Lindback,Lindgren and Bjerre. I am also guessing the teams might look like this. Leszno hampel Zielona Gora Hancock Rzeszow Crump Bydgoszcz Sayfutdinov Torun Holder Gdansk Ward Wroclaw Jonsson Tarnow Protasiewicz Czestochowa Nicki Pedersen Gorzow Gollob it would be interesting what our polish forum friends think will happen.
  2. Only a last race 5-1 kept Czestochowa in the extraleague-after winning in Gniezno 47-43 they lost the 2nd leg 44-46 and were 39-45 down with one race to go. Scores http://live.sportowefakty.pl/launch_speedway_3094.html
  3. Looks as if i have got to go to work this afternoon-so hopefully will be able to watch the TVP video during the week.this match has the potential to be one of the Polish matches of the season-i hope they manage to have a word with the ROW team manager-the one and only Per Jonsson.
  4. For the mods apologies for starting another thread for this meeting but i did try and get polskizuzel to add the date and live on tv to his thread without success match takes place at Torun and Coverage starts at 3.15pm uk time match starts 3.30pm and should be a cracking match Line ups courtesy of sportowefakty Reszta Świata 1. Greg Hancock 2. Nicki Pedersen 3. Andreas Jonsson 4. Antonio Lindbaeck 5. Chris Holder 6. Martin Vaculik 7. Darcy Ward Polska 9. Tomasz Gollob 10. Adrian Miedziński 11. Piotr Protasiewicz 12. 5. do not panic it is tomorrow SUNDAY 16th holder and ward might be good but they cannot be in two places at once
  6. Philip, two Questions please 1 Do BSI pay that up-front bonus to the riders ? 2 Does the world champion 2nd and 3rd recieve any payment for their success in addition to the normal GP prize money.
  7. I would have thought Nicki`s income is double that quoted. Most of the top riders are just doing Poland and Sweden alongside the GP`S-and are doing very nicely i would suggest-you only have to look at the leaked contracts of Greg Hancock and Jason Crump to confirm this-however the risks are high.
  8. Some of your early morning will be taken up watching Liverpool v Man Utd i`m sure.
  9. Not forgetting that BSI stopped a couple of years ago the double money for the winner at several gp`s plus the big money extra race than ran for one year was it ?
  10. Placing Prize money per meeting 1 US$ 11000.- 10 US$ 3700.- 2 US$ 8200.- 11 US$ 3650.- 3 US$ 6900.- 12 US$ 3600.- 4 US$ 6000.- 13 US$ 3550.- 5 US$ 5250.- 14 US$ 3500.- 6 US$ 5100.- 15 US$ 3450.- 7 US$ 4650.- 16 US$ 3400.- 8 US$ 4500.- 17 US$ 2100.- 9 US$ 3850.- 18 US$ 2100.- All travel and Hotels costs are included in the above prize money 11000 usd is approx £7000
  11. The rest of the world team will be managed by the legendary Per Jonsson
  12. And Michael J Jensen didn`t swear today-although he might have if they had interviewed him after his exclusion !
  13. The more i watch TVP the more i`m impressed by their coverage-roll on a week today for Poland v rest of the world
  14. Crashed in heat 3 looked in a fair amount of pain-not excluded but i thought he should have been.
  15. Welcome back from me also plenty of links on Polish play-off thread for meetings you might have missed-enjoy
  16. The meeting starts at 12.30pm uk time but TVP probably know what a long parade they have at Gniezno-tv programme starts at 12.50 pm uk time
