I think you are going to be unlucky with live streaming-Croatian tv are i believe filming but not for live showing.clean cut sports are i understand also filming and DVD`s will be available.I will be there and i`m sure it will be a cracking meeting. I reckon up to 9 of the field could win it ! -

Gp Challenge
racers and royals replied to whiterose's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Surprised no-one has mentioned Kenneth Bjerre, he is under real pressure in the last 2 GP`s now to cement his place in the top 8.(only 8 pts clear of Holta in 9th ).As for the british rider in the series, and its a certainty that there will be one i think it all depends on Tai Woffindens performance in the world u21 final-if he wins the title i think he will be nominated. -

Both play-off final matches will be sold out twice over,Torun told me on Monday that tickets will go on sale one week before match which is going to mean there will be a mad scramble for tickets i`m sure our polish forum friends will keep an eye out for info and post details-I am assuming we might just be able to buy over the phone-i desperately want to be there on the 18th. Edit Rico beat me to it -

If he wins the u21 title at Gorican 0n oct 3rd then it could be a possibility,i certainly wouldn`t rule it out. -

Future of the GP's...?
racers and royals replied to Sprog1's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I would like to add my thanks to phil for his answers.i can only echo the thoughts of many that the GP`s are the pinnacle of this great sport, and its frustrating to a lot of us that the racing has gone downhill over recent years.I would say that when one is actually at the track it always seems a better meeting than for the people watching it on tv at home. My own gripe is that there is never any bite (grip) on the tracks-if only there was more dirt riders would be able to use the outside more. one point that has been made before is the damage practice does to the track-obviously the rules have changed(offically or maybe un-offically)about riders having to be at practice eg Scott Nicholls. If there was more money in the sport, instead of practice the day before they could have test days, weeks before the GP(obviously couldn`t be done at Copenhagen and Cardiff) As regards Gothenburg Phil i was there getting covered in dust on the first bend from heat one onwards and i arrived at my seat very early and i certainly didnt see continual watering-they only came out twice in 2 hrs and during the meeting they didnt put any water on the inside third of the track Didn`t they have problems at practice after watering ? -
Couldn`t send e`mail to Torun came back to much spam was the reason given.Just phoned the club and spoke to someone who spoke english and she said its far to early, tickets not on sale yet phone back ONE WEEK before meeting.I can see this being a real problem in getting tickets. do any of our Polish friends know if this is the norm-its bound to be a sell out yesterday`s match was.

Slovenian Gp, Krsko 12.9.
racers and royals replied to tomazpozrl's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The 3 riders who finished on 7 had identical scores-Bjerre did not have more last places.
