  7. Didn`t you read fully this week`s statement- this i believe is a salient point • Whilst WYG state firmly that the current stadium cannot be deemed surplus, they do question whether a re-opening would be deliverable – and so they suggest that “a replacement option presents the next step, without a stalemate position being reached. This therefore needs to be explored… The history and support behind the Coventry Stadium could suggest there may be potential to deliver an alternative.” In other words the most likely scenairo would be any persons wishing to re-develop Brandon Stadium would have to provide an alternative stadium for speedway and Stocks.
  8. Vastervik have re-signed Jack Holder and Bartosz Smektala on 2 year contracts and Anton karlsson is also back with them in 2020.

  15. Not sure if it is as you summarise. A Polish suggestion to include foreign u 21 riders at 6 and 7 in the Extraleague, used the fact that Poland could give rides to the best non-Poles which would give them a big opportunity to improve. This was a suggestion because some think that there are not enough Polish quality youngsters coming through- which others have poo pooed. There are improving youngsters and this proposal would do nothing to improve them denying them rides.
  16. It does have a roof which covers 80% of the track.
  17. Not sure how that statement refers to my post- The British promoters have run matches against the live BT coverage of the Premiership. If BT lost the domestic coverage and went for Poland and Sweden instead then it`s all fair in love and war !! I could certainly write their publicity. " Watch Tai Woffinden and other world stars racing in the world`s top leagues every week on BT sport "
  18. Not sure you are correct about Polish coverage- unless you are referring to technical matters . Freesports showed the Extraleague on Sunday`s in 2017(don`t think it was 2018) and that was before every match was shown live. I made a mistake in calculating the number of matches in my post- if a Polish match was shown on Friday and Sunday that would be with play-offs around 34 matches and roughly the same with Sweden with a Tuesday and Thursday match. Would that be overkill ?? not sure.
  19. If i was asked to give my un-professional advice to BT it would be let Eurosport have the British Premiership and in addition to the GP`s and SON meetings do a deal with the Extraleague for 1 Friday/1 Sunday match + play-offs(about 18 matches and then do a deal with the Swedish Elitserien to show 1 Tuesday/ 1 Thursday + play-offs(about 20 matches) They would end up the whole of top Speedway
  20. Which was a programme produced and filmed for them(and others) by BSI. Slightly different to a contract to show domestic British Speedway.
