  1. Looked a decent crowd at Kumla for the match against Masarna- no figure published unfortunately. Absolutely poured down at heat 10 and that was that. Indianerna were really lucky to win as they were behind for most of the match- Woffy had a bit of a mare ! Bjerre and Chris Holder kept the home team in it. Smolinski looked quick for the visitors.
  2. Don`t rule out Smolinski- looked really quick in Sweden last night.
  3. Cracking match in Eskilstuna between Smederna and Piraterna in front of 2737. Track staff worked wonders to prepare such a decent racetrack after all the rain and the fans got their money`s worth after the long delay. The result and the bonus went all the way to heat 15 with Smederna collecting all 3 points with a 5-1. 4 double figure scorers for the home team with lebedevs being the pick with 13- MJJ, Miedzinski and Prem Pawlicki the others. Pawel Przedpelski led the way for the Motala side, back on his old home track scored 12 from 5 NKI looked quick all night bagged 11 with Michelsen also in double figures on 10
  4. Thursday`s match line-ups Dackarna v Kumla indianerna DACKARNA 1 Janowski 2 Piotr Pawlicki 3 Berntzon 4 Thorssell 5 Dudek 6 Jakobsen 7 Gomolski KUMLA INDIANERNA 1 Woffinden 2 K Bjerre 3 Protasiewcz 4 L Lindgren 5 C Holder 6 Andersson 7 Selvin
  5. Rospiggarna using R/R for the injured Fricke beat Lejonen by 10 collecting the bonus point with a last heat 5-1 in front of 2486. the more i see of Viktor kulakov the more i`m impressed- he scored 13 paid 14 tonight. Bewley rode at reserve for the Hallstavik team and after winning heat 2 he never troubled the scorers in 3 more rides. Kasprzak led the way for the Gislaved visitors scoring 10.
  6. just watched Vetlanda v Vastervik, home side far to good for the visitors collecting all 3 points on offer with ease in front of 2797. Zmarzlik not really troubled on his way to a 15pt max along with 4 ride maximum man Artem Laguta. Star for Vastervik was Jack Holder who wasn`t afaid to mix it and looked really fast all night scoring 11 from 6.
  7. I wish this morning that i had said i got the draw from a personal email from the FIM
  8. No and it probably wasn`t even read by the person i wanted it to be, however they are improving and we just have the 2 U 21`s and the 1 SEC to go this season so we shall see how they do in September and October.
  9. I thought the bargain was lot 152 a container full of speedway mags and newspapers for £160 - trouble is how will you get it home
  10. That was the 1st round in July- Eurosport joined the meeting in time for heat 17(22 heats in total in the SEC). The 2nd round they did better started at heat 3 and the 3rd round showed the whole meeting. Can`t remember what they were showing in round 1 This is an email i sent to the schedule controller Eurosport UK on July 6th Dear sirs, Eurosport this year are showing the 3rd and 4th most important world speedway competitions namely 1/ speedway European championships(SEC) 4 rounds 2/ World U21 championships 3 rounds. The Promoters are a Polish company(Onesport) so maybe the contract was agreed and signed by Eurosport Poland. I have been involved in UK Speedway racing for over 50 years as a fan and in management, and would like to make some observations on how Eurosport UK are scheduling these 2 competitions in 2019. the 1st round of the World U21 competition was held on Saturday June 22nd- it was shown live on Eurosport Poland and i believe on Eurosport player here in the UK. The 1st showing on TV was an hour highlights on Tuesday morning 25th, and the programme started at heat 19 out of 23 races !!!! The 1st final of the SEC competition is next Saturday July 13th from Gustrow Germany. The meeting starts at 1900 local time(1800 here in the UK) with once again Eurosport Poland showing the whole match live. Eurosport UK goes live at 19.45 for 75 mins which undoubtedly will mean British viewers will join the action at about race 17 of a 22 race programme !!! Speedway fans like myself get frustrated at missing races, and myself and others would far prefer you showing the whole meeting on "delayed live" ie show next Saturday`s whole meeting for 3 hours from 19.45, if you cannot programme the meeting live because of other sport on the 2 channels. We can keep away from checking scores until transmission starts. you are sending 2 commentators to the tracks for the 7 rounds so i would think you would like to get the maximum viewing figures you can get.
  11. I have just scrolled through the 13 pages of the sale again- some of the prices the items made are amazing- i reckon i could have under estimated the £400000- anyone want to get a calculator out ??
  12. I didn`t know we are in the USA where the away team is listed 1st !!!!!!
  13. 1st race will be 6.15pm UK time- i fear best coverage we can hope for is live updates.
  14. I can’t link it but google FIM GP qualifying and on the FIM website is a PDF which i have copied.
  15. Substitute rider list- if anyone pull out of the 1 to 16 19 Lahti 20 C Holder 21 lebedevs 22 Wozniak 23 Przedpelski 24 Covatti 25 Hampel 26 Kulakov
  16. Draw 1 NKI 2 Pavlic 3 Smolinski 4 Thomsen 5 Bellego 6 Fricke 7 Aspgren 8 Bjerre 9 Lambert 10 Vaculik 11 Ljung 12 Zagar 13 Michelsen 14 Cook 15 Loktaev 16 Harris 17 Ivacic 18 Magosi
  17. Bewley seems to be riding better for Rybnik than Belle Vue
  18. Fair play to Poole, they have sorted the rut out and it`s in decent condition now with some good racing.
