The Polish clubs invest thousands of Zlotys in their junior programme- the kids come straight from school and jump on the clubs supplied equipment. There are rider tests every year to pass so that they are allowed to ride competitively in the junior competition programme - where the riders have plenty of meetings.

Hard to tell- but i wouldn’t necessarily think so- they have been so good because Smektala and Kubera at 6/7 have been so dominant for a couple of seasons now. Next season is a different matter altogether as Smektala and Drabik to name 2 have to move into the top 5.

Of course i know what you meant. They are the best league in the world and at the moment are doing very nicely thank you. I seem to remember they did try it some years ago but quickly dropped it.

Wrong British Speedway does nothing better than Poland, they have a limit- U21 riders at 6/7 and 14/15, along with the 3 foreigners max in the top 5 rule. one thing they should bin is the ridiculous U23 no 8 rider.
