  2. Well Poland, Russia, Denmark, Sweden USA, GB, Latvia, France, Australia and the Czech Rep all have a U21 rider that is half decent- which leaves 5 teams who might struggle. Prize money is rubbish and far better to split between 2 seniors and a U21 than 3 seniors !
  3. What do they want ? 3 senior rider teams ?(cost implications) or 2 man teams ?(injuries and you and the punters are stuffed )
  4. I do however i do think the FIM will push through the U21 change.
  5. In the 2018 rulebook and i can`t see the FIM changing to 3 man senior rider teams nor can i see them allowing again 2 man teams. "FMN’s may nominate a U21 Rider who is the same nationality as FMN. This rider will be allocated starting number 3, allowed to practice and will be a Reserve, permitted to take the place of any rider at any time during the meeting. The nomination and use of an U21 Rider is not compulsory for 2018 but will be compulsory for 2019."
  6. It would be awesome if the 2 qualifiers were at Belle Vue and Czestochowa- the 2 best race tracks in the world. Wherever they are, every competing nation must have a U21 reserve rider in 2019
  7. USA v Rest of the world Auburn(fast Friday`s) Friday October 13th

  9. So the Championship league table will be incomplete.- could the SCB bring a charge against the BSPA for " bringing the sport into disrepute in 2018 " ?
  10. Some photo`s of work going on at Ostrow`s stadium in readiness for their Nice Polska league season. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/zdjecia/galeria/16673/trwa-przebudowa-stadionu-w-ostrowie-galeria

  12. Are Mildenhall inferring in their statement that between the 12th July(original meeting called off) and the 21st October- there was no dialogue with Eastbourne about a date for the fixture to be re-run. Sorry but i don`t believe it !!!!
  13. Garrity out of the meeting- IRR in operation.(courtesy of live updates)
  14. Level on aggregate after 8 heats- surely Workington are home and hosed.
  15. yes- Klindt is under Proctor as well which helps with R/R(everyone can take a ride)

  18. The Championship knock-out cup is decided by golden heats in the event of a tie. 18.2 SGB PREMIERSHIP & CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE KNOCK-OUT CUP 18.2.1 A Draw of the competing Teams will be made, with Byes being given where necessary in order to equalise the number of competing teams. 18.2.2 All Meetings, including the Semi-Finals and Final are decided upon the aggregate score of both the home and away legs. 19. Nice Polska and div 2 teams have voted against introducing no 8/16`s next season. hopefully the Extraleague will see sense and at least amend the rule to Polish U21`s only can be 8/16
  20. As you say it seems a strange decision- the crowd might be hit. from their website- Google translation. " It was very tempting to go for a day exactly after 90 years of the Golden Helmet race. It was hard to decide whether to hold the seventy-first year of the race last September Sunday or to move one week to October. Finally, he made several arguments. The first is the possibility for the start of Václav Milík, the hero of the last two years, and the Pardubice's darling is a member of the elite Polish club and since most of the extraligue play-offs of the best league in the world are not going in October, it is a clear argument. We also saw our specialists from the long track. Even the world championship in this discipline does not take place in October and the Pardubice organizers would not like to go without another Pardubice star Hynek Štichauer, of course, Josef Franc could also start."
  21. If the rider unavailability is down to the Olympique at Wolverhampton that in my opinion is a pathetic reason for not running tonight- the BSPA should have insisted that klindt and Lawson pull out of the individual meeting.
  22. I gather that the Rye House stadium management have worked quickly to get a sponsor for Wednesday http://www.corelighting.co.uk/
