  1. Nice Polish league(div 1 ) fixtures will be announced next Tuesday 19th January.
  2. Agree-and the poster on some of the GP threads has done plenty of driving abroad-also if driving Berlin would be an option for an airport for Zielona Gora.
  3. Poznan airport is the nearest to Zielona Gora- buses leave from airport to Poznan regularly. trains from Poznan to ZG take about 1hr 50 mins.
  4. I am assuming you wrote Ronnie but meant Terry ! - it certainly was a short lived experiment. I should imagine the promoters did agree to give it the go ahead but whether they were aware that anyone with just a small amount of money in an account could watch is conjecture. Maybe they thought that anyone betting on a particular race could watch that race.
  5. In their naivety the promoters however did see the £ signs in the Go speed / betting industry contract in 2014.
  6. 26 min video from sunday`s match Auckland Rhinos v Canterbury Comets http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/572102/tak-scigaja-sie-nastepcy-ivana-maugera-zobacz-mecz-ligi-nowej-zelandii-wideo
  7. Not officially being announced until tomorrow-but Rybnik will hold final SEC round on September 17th -according to Polish sources. Also an interesting interview on Sportowefakty with One sports Jan Konikiewicz regarding the SBPC speedway best pairs in which he states that they have been forced by the FIM to stop using national teams from 2016-hence the change to "sponsors " named teams such as Fogo and Nice http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/571992/runela-koncepcja-sbpc-wladze-fim-wymusily-zmiany
  8. One minute you say it`s no-ones business apart from the 2 promotions what the figures are-and in the next breath say you would love to know how much/what the stumbling block is !!!!!!
  9. I will do my best, however you will need to do a bit yourself. 1 check out where Ryanair and Wizzair fly to in Poland- and Easy jet fly to Krakow 2 the internet will tell you what airports are nearest to which towns 3 I find http://www.bahn.de/p_en/view/index.shtml best for train times in Europe. Certainly you have plenty of choice with Wroclaw riding in Poznan. Torun and Grudziadz not far from Bydgoszcz. Gorzow and Zielona Gora near each other in the west of the country. Leszno near Poznan/Wroclaw and Rybnik and Tarnow in the south.
  10. because Dave Hemsley couldn`t find anyone to pay for it then
  11. You are not going to be able do a lot of planning-we know the SEC last round is on September 17th in Poland-however the next day is play-offs final and 3rd/4th match1st legs-so could be anywhere.
  12. In my view the time has come for some kind of Rider control in Poland- the Leszno top 5 for 2016 in Pedersen,Sayfutdinov ,kildemand, piotr pawlicki and Zengota is frankly ridiculously strong. yes they have the minimum number of Polish riders quota and the U21 Polish reserves-but I think the time has come for a points limit for the top 5. We might see a reduction in the quality of the teams overall-but if the points limit was set right cost savings could happen.
  13. starts at 7.30pm local-they are 11 hours ahead of us -so 8.30 am
  14. Just been looking at flights, hotels etc -although I would hire a car in Poland. I would need to be home on Monday morning so Ryanair Stansted to Wroclaw-out Friday morning back Monday morning would work with taking the Rybnik match on the Sunday (long drive from Grudziadz to Rybnik on Sunday however ! ) Contracts not changed as far as I know - so N sport+ are showing. TVP have agreed to cover the new div 1 - I only watch on streams so hopefully no clampdown on them !!
  15. http://aukcje.wosp.org.pl/tomasz-gollob-kombinezon-zuzlowy-i2556403 Gollob`s 2015 Grudziadz racesuit on a charity auction in Poland amongst other speedway items.
  16. Obviously not nor are they before the SEC rounds or GP qualification or u21 comps-in other words about the only 7 free Friday`s of the season
  17. Actually 3 days for 1st 2 rounds-Friday,Saturday and Sunday- great for us TV/stream viewers, all the matches shown(4) in each round. Happy days !!!!
  18. This is I think what is happening with the amalgamated div 1 and 2 in 2016 Rzeszow Bydgoszcz Lodz Pila Daugavpils Gdansk Krakow Czestochowa Krosno Rawicz Opole these are the 11 teams taking part-the first 9 teams listed are riding each other home and away(16 matches) plus riding away at Rawicz and Opole thus making in total 18 matches in the regular season for each of these 9 teams. Rawicz and Opole will race 10 home matches(against each team once) plus Rawicz will ride at Opole away and Opole will ride at Rawicz-so Rawicz and Opole will ride a regular season of 11 matches each. The 9 teams (excluding Rawicz and Opole) will be given a 40-0 victory and 2 match points for the non-home meetings against Rawicz and Opole. ARE YOU STILL WITH ME I still can`t work out the play-offs format- however I do know that the winning finalist will be invited into the extraleague in 2017 the losing finalist will have a race off with the 2nd from bottom team in the Extraleague teams 1-8 will form div 1 in 2017 teams 9-11 will form basis of div 2 in 2017 along with any new licence teams.
  19. Extraleague fixtures http://speedwayekstraliga.pl/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/terminarz2016.pdf 7 Friday matches I see-Polish clubs flexing their muscles
  20. Now confirmed that div 1 and 2 will be amalgamated in 2016-however it is all a bit of a farce as there will be 11 clubs but Rawicz and Opole will only race at home (10 matches)and away at the other club. more news when I have tried to fathom it all out !!!!!
  21. It is by the promoter`s or they will go skint !!!!
  22. looks as if it`s confirmed now. Leszno are looking the team to beat in 2016
  23. Latest news suggests that Piotr Pawlicki will be staying with Leszno
