  1. Obviously not nor are they before the SEC rounds or GP qualification or u21 comps-in other words about the only 7 free Friday`s of the season
  2. Actually 3 days for 1st 2 rounds-Friday,Saturday and Sunday- great for us TV/stream viewers, all the matches shown(4) in each round. Happy days !!!!
  3. This is I think what is happening with the amalgamated div 1 and 2 in 2016 Rzeszow Bydgoszcz Lodz Pila Daugavpils Gdansk Krakow Czestochowa Krosno Rawicz Opole these are the 11 teams taking part-the first 9 teams listed are riding each other home and away(16 matches) plus riding away at Rawicz and Opole thus making in total 18 matches in the regular season for each of these 9 teams. Rawicz and Opole will race 10 home matches(against each team once) plus Rawicz will ride at Opole away and Opole will ride at Rawicz-so Rawicz and Opole will ride a regular season of 11 matches each. The 9 teams (excluding Rawicz and Opole) will be given a 40-0 victory and 2 match points for the non-home meetings against Rawicz and Opole. ARE YOU STILL WITH ME I still can`t work out the play-offs format- however I do know that the winning finalist will be invited into the extraleague in 2017 the losing finalist will have a race off with the 2nd from bottom team in the Extraleague teams 1-8 will form div 1 in 2017 teams 9-11 will form basis of div 2 in 2017 along with any new licence teams.
  4. Extraleague fixtures http://speedwayekstraliga.pl/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/terminarz2016.pdf 7 Friday matches I see-Polish clubs flexing their muscles
  5. Now confirmed that div 1 and 2 will be amalgamated in 2016-however it is all a bit of a farce as there will be 11 clubs but Rawicz and Opole will only race at home (10 matches)and away at the other club. more news when I have tried to fathom it all out !!!!!
  6. It is by the promoter`s or they will go skint !!!!
  7. looks as if it`s confirmed now. Leszno are looking the team to beat in 2016
  8. Latest news suggests that Piotr Pawlicki will be staying with Leszno
  9. Greyhound racing article about Thursday`s meeting http://www.racingpost.com/news/greyhounds/oxford-campaign-has-meeting-on-thursday/2013823/top/
  10. Looks as if the Div 1/2 plan above has been scuppered by TV requirements- TVP looking for an 8 team Div 1
  11. Now confirmed Wroclaw will ride their home matches in Poznan in 2016 Photograph of Poznan stadium http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/zdjecia/galeria/8941/stadion-na-poznanskim-golecinie/21-406543#photo-start Reports from Poland indicate that div 1 and 2 might be amalgamated in 2016 into 2 groups group 1 Rzeszow Bydgoszcz Lodz Pila Rawicz Opole group 2 Daugavpils Gdansk Krakow Czestochowa Krosno
  12. Not 100% confirmed yet- but it looks as if Wroclaw will be definitely staging their home meetings in 2016 in the newly renovated stadium in Poznan.
  13. It`s certainly not normally technicalities that stop the issuing of licences-it`s normally where there are debts from the season just gone which need to be cleared before the authorities give the green light. As far as Wroclaw`s refusal it`s not about money but a problem because at the moment they have not an agreement where they will race home meetings in 2016-the Olympic stadium is un-available because of the refurbishment for the 2017 world games. the likelihood is that Wroclaw will use either Posnan or Ostrow as their base in 2016.

  15. Presumably because the BSPA press office have not been notified of any other signings-as is stated on the bottom of relevant page.
  16. Marek Cieslak is the new coach/manager at Zielona Gora having been with them previously- in 2011 they won the league under his leadership.

  18. All the questions you ask are difficult to answer because none of the information is in the public domain. The Elite league clubs have income from - TV money, sponsorship, gate receipts, programme sales and a few lucky ones have bar and catering income( kings lynn, Leicester and next season Belle Vue). Riders will get paid per points per match, some will be on minimum guarantee and some will have signing on fees. as an educated guess I would suggest that in general riders would be paid in Sweden 3 x GB rates and Poland 6 x GB rates. it was reported that Emil was on £1500 per point in Czestochowa a couple of years ago(not that he got it all)
  19. Which for non-Danish speakers means that Hancock and MJJ are both signed for Slangerup in 2016
