  1. Perhaps they pay "by the minute" for live transmission time and this saves a few bucks until they know for sure on way or the other. Being fans we don't mind watching "nothing much" happening because we are so used to it.
  2. we are all totally fluent in Danish on this section, so there is no need for me to translate for you! Way back in the 60s I briefly grew a 'tache. The third one who said "Hi Adolf" caused me to rush home and shave it off.
  3. Hi my friend. Yes, I just saw the message on the bottom of the screen. Hope it goes ahead. Perfect speedway weather here today-23C so i'll ship it over to you.
  4. Hi there, Intriguing match up. Fingers crossed for the weather.
  5. A 5-1 to Slangerup to set up a tasty heat 14. (He wishes ) Take care all and join you again on Friday. Regards. Alan.
  6. Back in the 50s part of the advertising for speedway was "No betting" Let's just say that it is very open to manipulation without any chance of proving otherwise. No accusations, no nothing. Just could be a bit dodgy. "You'll not see nothing like the mighty Leon" accompanied by Manfred Mann. The NordicBet pigeon. Best ad ever
  7. Haven't had a good look at them yet. I'll let you know. I was going to say that I really enjoy this Danish coverage. The whole thing is low-key and unpretentious in the nicest possible way. 22C here today and very pleasant. Nice in Fjelsted so I hope yours is the same. Leon has left his gating boots at home in the closet and this is turning into a bit of a wipe-out so far. The Red girl obviously likes butter on her morning muffin. Jablonski was a lucky lad there not to get creamed . Could have been a LOT worse.
  8. C'mon The Mighty Leon. Though I fancy Kildemand will prove me wrong. BIG time Put him in Wolves kevlars and you are back in the late 80s I hope they have paid their water bill because they are going to use a fair bit today to keep the dust down. ( A better problem than rain. )
  9. Always nice when you have actually been there. Let's hope today lives up to that.
  10. I switch on and I think "It's bouncy speedway", then realize it's motocross Note it was/is raining there, and it was peeing in Paris earlier, so "fingers crossed" Sun blazing down.
  11. An Aussie and a Brit chugging Fosters in New York. Now that's what I call a weekend ! Enjoy. Regards. Alan.

"The Last Waltz" in 1976, Robbie Robertson was discussing a club date The Band played in their early days in Dallas and he said "There were about 6 people in the audience- and a fight broke out! There weren't enough people to start a fight. " Rather how I feel about speedway supporters. Especially on the International section. There aren't enough of us to start a fight. I've previously posted The Youngbloods "C'mon People Now" as my response to squabbling..... Now 4 Canadians and Levon from Arkansas. Lotsa happies from Dixie. Alan.

  15. Sent mine again. Bombard them guys. It only takes a minute and may just help. Regards. Alan.
  16. As usual a very enjoyable Polish Sunday. Thanks for the company guys. All the very best. Alan.
  17. You switch allegiance every two weeks anyway, so next week you'll be promoting Beyoncé.
  18. Pawel, who was the oomphy chick interviewed in the red shorts? Both he and Darcy. They are going to be hobbling around in their old age.
  19. The weather here in the N/E USA generally takes about5 days to drift across the Atlantic, so I promise you a lovely spell by next Friday. As soon as this is done i'm outside to enjoy. 2.30pm here.
  20. You probably sense a better atmosphere on here than some of those Elite League threads.
  21. There speaks your fellow Manchunian and a more knowledgeable techie than i .Mind you you don't have to know much to know more than I! Thank god for my 19 year old son.
