  1. Country has gone mad, offer to pay them 10k each, up to a max of 40k for a family of 4 to leave when they have failed to get political asylum, just deport them, but then again that aint straight forward and easy because they play the human rights card and all the do gooders make a fuss🤦‍♂️
  2. And i thought the Witches 1-6 was getting on in years. 24, 47, 39, 32, 40, 22 and Edwards, who says speedway is a young man's game🤭
  3. Like been said who would Northampton have tho, Ipswich obvs couldn't get a genuine No1 if Brennan is their No1, if the rumours are true and riders like Ellis/Becker/Rew are giving the UK a miss then that leaves possibly Wright/Tungate, but after them two god knows.
  4. Has the regularly track man left as well or is he back this season, and what about TruPlant/ForkRent, Nicholls lot, is he still one of t sponsors.
  5. Have had BSN for my elderly parents for the last 4 years and can't fault it for the cost, yeah had a few teething problems with some streams from time to time when it first came along but its got better year on year tbf, my parents who are both 85 love their speedway and have been going regularly to local tracks since the Norwich speedway days, and were season ticket holders at Ipswich, Lynn, P'boro and Mildenhall for many a year before Covid stuck, it's just an easier option for them these days then driving to a meeting and having to sit about in all weather's at their age.
  6. Um no and no, your not missed much, well actually nothing😒
  7. Fair point, but its the old "duffers" as you put it who keep the sport going, year on year more old "duffers" stop going and the aint no younger generation to take their place so it'll go twit's up eventually attendance wise sadly.
  8. Yeah Scotty,Harris,Troy.B, Lawson, King, Cook, Wright and Barker just off the top of my head are all late 30's or 40 plus, there's probably a few more ive missed and all.
  9. And the majority of the riders rocked up in the pits with 1 bike or 2 if they were lucky strapped to the back of a car, and if they had bike problems they'd fall back on the track spare to use, not like now where they all expect sponsored sign written vans with 3 or 4 bikes in the back.
  10. Most of them expect a 6 month season riding speedway to fund their 6 month close season living costs, like been said perhaps they should get a proper job between Oct/Nov thru till Feb/March.
  11. Tbf Thorsell is a steal if he comes in on a 4.50 average but i wouldn't get to carried away, i watched him during the SON for Sweden and yeah if he gated he was fine but if he didn't he didn't make much of a impression during the race, to me he's another Klindt, very much a gating tart, just my opinion obviously🤭
  12. Can't win either way by the sounds of it, not enough heat leaders to go round to run a competitive top league of 5 or more teams, and if the so called one league is mentioned the riders moan and say they can't make it pay and threaten to quit, the sports in a right mess atm.
  13. Haps Adam Roynon is making another comeback.
