Their main symptoms has been low attendance which in turn is because of ongoing track problems the past couple of seasons. Track also haven't been curated or prepared properly for a few seasons. Before meetings track preparations have begun too late/too close to the start of the meeting. Track has therefore not been good and quite dusty (according to meeting reports). This season Piraterna's first home meeting (against Smederna) was aborted because track was unsafe (reports of large sheets of the track coming loose. Piraterna's second home meeting was aborted halfway through. So lots of spectators have stayed at home. I had quick look for attendance for piraterna the latest three seasons and the high note for attendance was about 2400 and the lowest about 900, not really economical sustainable attendance. However after the problems after their second home meeting they brought in a grader and another vehicle to begins work the the track, but perhaps too late? What the real cause is I don't know. Lack of volunteers with proper interest/knowledge or unable to commit to the amount time needed? Lack of knowledge/pondus in the board? I don't know.. Perhaps a bit of all of those? IMO Daniel Davidsson (team manager) has done a very good job building a team with small budget and unlike previous times with clubs have money difficulties Piraterna have in my opinion not overextended/ signed too many fancy names for too much money. On the contrary Daniel Davidsson have done a goodjob getting a pretty good team together with small means.

Michael Jepsen Jensen is in the Adelsberg qualifier and MJJ has been really hot, both last season and so far this season. He's currently second in the Polish average list, only 0.2 behind Bartoz.

No meetings next week. Dave asked me why and if it was due SGP qualifiers, but I dont know. There will be s double round Tuesday - Wednesday in the first week in July.

yes, I looked at the table and didn't realise that Västerviks score hadn't updated (only said 4 meetings completed) and forgot that I just had checked the score. 🙄

Kim always do well at Kråkvilan in Norrköping, so not surprising to see good points from him. IIRC he scored 15p last year (from 6 heats). It is of course as well very nice to 9 points from Pollestad. Also worth noting is that Smederna and Västervik are undefeated so far this season.

So is Dave behaving alright or do I need to have a word with him? 😉

Not much Indianerna can do since both Kowalski and Buczek are out due to injuries.

@racers and royals Changes for Indianerna: Sebastian Szostak replaces Kowalski and Bartosz Banbor replaces Buzkowski. Since Bartoz's average is higher then Ramus Karlsson's Bartoz will be at nr 2 and Rasmus at nr 6.

Swedish league has lost quite allot of attendance after the Corona pandemic and it hasn't really recovered since. I think Polish fans sometimes are too enthusiastic and passionate.

Well, in that case I would advise you to email your suggestions to Mikael Karlsson is who is the head of the track racing section at Svemo and/or send an email to Mikael Holmstrand, chairman of the board for Elitspeedway Sverige. However the referee has no such authority. The only thing that is mandated for the updater is to put the lineups (1-7 for each team) in and then put the scores in during the meeting. Teams are normally confirmed at 18.00 Swedish time since that is when the team managers, referee and race director has their meeting. Also see rule 10.1.12 Rapportering av tävlingsresultat.

Svemo doesn't do the updates; They only provide the platform for it. Updates are done by volounteers from the hosting club. For Smederna - Indianerna is that Chugunov is here and also that it's raining.

My assumption was R/R since they put him at nr 4 and Kim at nr 5. However Smederna apparently told local news paper that Gleb will ride tomorrow. I am however still sceptical of that since Smederna have a history of not disclosing information and announce stuff at rider presentation despite it have been known for days. We'll see tomorrow if he's here or not. I don't really like that attitude, to hide information from fans until the very last minute. If they know Saturday-Sunday then put out some information after the line ups become public on Sunday evening at 21.00.
