Not surprised that Västervik lost, Dackarna is a good team but Västervik alsi rarely performes well in semi finals regardless how good team they have.

Smederna made a run for it, but MJJ and Kim made a terrible start and was an easy 1-5 Dackarna to keep Smederna's lead at 8p. Dont think 8p will be enough for next week's second leg.

Very tight here at Smedstadion so far. Lead has changed back and forth all night. With two heats to go Smederna is in the lead with 8 points.

It has been hinted by Rospiggarna that Greg Hancock might be their next team manager.

Yeah that rule is really silly, a rider can sit out all season and just come in for the play offs. Hopefully they change it for next season to like 16 heats for all riders.

Smederna only needs a draw since they are 2p ahead of Indianerna. With a draw Indianerna will get 2p and Smederna 1p.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him sit out Riga too and only do Vojens and Torun as farewell to SGP.

News from Sweden: Antonio LIndbäck has been cleared for doping charges. The substance found as the medicine he is taking and all TEU:s were in order. He will be cleared to ride as soon as Wada also gives the green light. Philip Hellströms - Bängs is Swedish U21 champion after winning all heats at yesterday's U21 final in Gislaved.

Smederna makes a surprise rush start and is 10 p up after 4 heats. Philip Hellström Bängs made a really nice pass of both Lejonen riders to make 5-1 Smederna with Joel taking the win. In heat 4 Tarasenko and Zmarzlik had a good fight for two flaps before Tarasenko pulled away to the win.
