This means that the wild card for Målilla will be nominated rather the earned by being best non gp-rider in the Swedish final. Not sure who they'll pick but probably Thorssell or maybe PHB even if Philip hasn't really had a good season in Elitserien so far this year. Casper Henriksson might be another potential choice.

They will make an attempt to remove the wet top soil. No start later then 21.00 Swedish time, but at the moment they believe that the track work will be finished before that. It has rained allot the past day and half, but track looked good at around 15-16.00 Swedish time, but then it rained for about two hours which kinda ruined it.

Smederna uses a transfer card to keep Chugunov in the squad now that Ben Cook have returned from injury.

Format is: top 3 after 20 heats are directly qualified for the final. Riders placed 4-7 will do a run off for a spot in the final. if several riders ends up with same points run off(s) will take place, but only if affects places 1-7. I definitely agree with you, but Discovery and tv companies wants a crowned winner, someone being the first across the finish line so that it becomes very visual. They simply want a knock out cup to decide a winner.

Some rumours: 1. Smedernas is rumoured to keep Chugunov even after Been Cook's return to speedway after injury. 2. Michael Jepsen Jensen is also rumoured to make a return to Smederna despite having received a much better of from Västervik. However MJJ and Jerker have been very close for many years and I think this is worth more for Michael then whatever money Västervik offers.

Basically to be eligible for R/R a rider needs to complete one meeting (one round), amount of heats completed doesn't matter. 6 heats for floating average to be deciding applies to eligibility for being replaced rider as well being the replacement rider 12 heats to get on official average has no bearing on the R/R-rule since this rule instead uses 6 heats as deciding factor.
