Vargarna have really aweful crowd levels.

They secured financing for the rest of the season at the end of June. However, they have many (5 IIRC) riders on the injury list so they have a heard time just fielding 7 riders.

Lejonen team manager more or less said that he thinks it's better to finish 4th then to win the league so I don't expect Lejonen to bother.

Dackarna will use R/R for Rasmus Jensen.

Indianerna-Dackarna will start at 20.00 at the earliest.

Piraterna have signed Latvian rider Jevgenjis Kostigovs . He replaces Milik in the squad.

and no Chugonov for Smederna so perhaps teams for this week were picked due to risk of meeting getting postponed.

According to Smederna it will be the same teams on Wednesday.

Wiktor Przyjemski signed with Lejonen and Lejonen have decided to put Hampel outside the squad.

Small update for Tuesday. An intense low pressure system with lots of rain is expected to make it's way into southern Sweden late Monday evening and a large part of Tuesday. Hard to know yet exactly where it will hit and how much rain, but all venues for Tuesday are affected. Eskilstuna is expected to receive 21-41 mm of rain on Tuesday. For the televised meeting in Västervik less rain is expected and to stop earlier So given the current forecasts it should be able to go ahead as planned.

Not surprised, but still very stupid that RR can be used for everything nowadays.

Dackarna will use RR for Jacobsen today too. Speculations whether Zmarzlik will appear at Norrköping or not tonight. Vargarna's track is usually not well liked by Polish riders, particular not by those who are lesding SGP.

Smederna vs Dackarna was very one sidled, not sure what was going with Dackarna. Smederna were really hot from the gate and Dackarna were usually beaten already the first few meters. In a few heats Dackarna had 5-1 from the the tapes but after 1 lap (or less) Smederna had taken to front. Not much racing tonight so the only overtaking that happened was when Smederna sligthly missed the gating and had to work a little to win. The most celebratory that happened is that Anton Jansson scored his first heat win in Elitserien/Bauhausligan. I had to do some research and now that I have checked it tonight's 3p in heat 2 were indeed Anton's first ever in 500cc league racing for Smederna. For those of you who doesnt know who Anton is here is a brief summary. Anton's father is Jimmy Jansson former rider and team manager for Smederna. Jimmy's father (Anton's grandfather / farfar) is Bo Jansson (former speedway rider). Bo's brother was Tommy Jansson (speedway rider, rode for Wimbledon and died in 1976). Tommy's and Bo's father was Joel Jansson (speedway rider). Anton is thereby the 4th generation speedway rider in the Jansson family. Very impressive if I may say so.

Smederna is 20p up already with only 7 heats completed.
