2013 Best Ever Gp Line Up?
Ghostwalker replied to Gavan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
How many of those had actually won a World champion at the start of the '95 and '96 season? Not, Billy (won in '96), Greg ('97+'11, Mark ('00) and Tomasz ('10). So it wasn't more then four champions then which is the same as next season (and the past season). We don't know how many of next years riders that will win a title in the future. Perhaps it will turn out to be that 2013 was stronger then 1995/1996. -
the guest rider system is basically a system that allows a Swedish riders to ride in both Elitserien and Allsvenskan. The two guests have to be unsigned for that particular series since a guestrider can only represent one team per series. Their class varies from team to team. You'll just have to check for yourself (see first page).

Hammarby have done what they always do. Sign more riders then they can fit into the squad. They already filled their squad but team manager Fröjd obviously need to sign another rider. Hammarby have today announced that they have signed Rory Schlein meaning that some of the other riders will find out that they actually don't have a team place for next year.

no problem. think someone at Svemo made a mistake and linked the 2011 results to the 2012 results. for 2011 80cc see this link: http://www.svemo.se/...vlingskalender/ Aktuellspeedway also have the results for 2011; Elitserien; http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/schedule.php?id=1&s=2011 Allsvenskan: http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/schedule.php?id=2&s=2011 Div 1: http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/schedule.php?id=3&s=2011 this is the only results that Svemo.se handles.

Tai Woffinden
Ghostwalker replied to David Haddock's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
yes, but Tai also had his chance and didn't finish in last place. So you could say that Tai have had his chance too or does that not apply to British riders? Besides JK had a nasty crash in the beginning of the season and it more then the whole season for him to became himself again. -
Leon Madsen have signed with Hammarby which means that their squad is full and no Gollob at them unless they will send any of their riders to another team as a loan. http://bajenspeedway.se/Joomla_1.5.15-Stable-Full_Package/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=730:dansk-dynamit-till-hammarby-speedway&catid=1:latest-news&Itemid=18 FNC Gnistorna have also signed two riders. Peter Ljung and Miroslaw Jablonski. http://www.skanskan.se/article/20121024/SPORT/710249868/1007/-/gp-forare-forstarker-gnistorna http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/news.php/2012/10/24/jablonski-byter-s-dermanland-mot-sk-ne.html

Imo they should have scrapped it entirely.

Next Years Gp
Ghostwalker replied to jasper wasp's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
most certainly not. The system have changed since Loram's title 12 years ago. Imo the current system rewards consistency which is good. I think current system is as fair as it can be and IMO none of those who won since the system with 5 guaranteed heats was introduced, can not be considered unworthy winners. So if we would have a champion who wouldn't have won a gp? so what? In speedway, just like in F1, MotoGP and WRC its the best driver/rider over the entire season who wins the title, the one who can master all types of tracks/surfaces/conditions. You say that it was 12 years ago since it last happened. I say, I think that we can say then, that its nothing to worry about. -
