  1. thread updated with lineups and info/comments. I'll add live score links later today.
  2. Round 16 Dackarna - Västervik Live scores. Dackarna Andreas Jonsson Hans Andersen Rune Holta Artur Mroczka Fredrik Lindgren Daniel King Joel Larsson Västervik Sebastian Ulamek Rafal Okoniewski Chris Harris Nikolai Klindt Peter Ljung Pontus Aspgren Travis Mcgowan This is a do or die meeting for both teams. The team that looses will be one step closer to Allsvenskan. Both teams especially Dackarna are therefore under very heavy pressure. Personally i think that if Västervik can get an initial advantage they can put most of the pressure on Dackarna and in that way sneak away with the win. Remember that Dackarna probably have on the biggest rider budget but still finds themselves in last place. Hamamrby - Vargarna Live scores. Hammarby Grzegorz Walasek Robert Kosiecha Tomasz Gollob Andrej Karpov Rory Schlein Magnus Zetterström Henrik Karlsson Vargarna Lee Richardson Michael Jepsen Jensen Adrian Miedzinski Maksims Bogdanovs Nicki Pedersen Eric Andersson Kim Nilsson Another interesting meeting. Hammarby is fighting to maintain their position within the top 4 teams while Vargarna is fighting to avaoid last place. Before the season it was expected that the roles would be the opposite, Vargarna fighting for the gold and Hammarby to avoid relagation. Its also a meeting between the team with one of the longest tracks in Sweden (Hammarby, Gubbängen length is 387m) vs. Vargarna (Kråkvilan length is 279m) Vargarna have improved slightly in the last couple of meetings. But Hammarby has shown this season that they are a very hood team when riding at home. In this meeting i think they are favourites as well. Even if Nicki have been riding very well i Elitserien this season and even if he and Kim Nilsson knows the track very well (as they have ridden for Hammarby) Vargarna will have a very hard time at Gubbängen. For Vargarna Maksim Bogdanovs is back into the team while Kasper is still banned. For Hammarby Zorro will find that his riding have earned himself the nr 6 position. Which of course is a strength to the team. And i think that this might very well be the decisive factor for a Hammarby win. Then onto this weeks tv meeting Lejonen vs. Indianerna Live scores. Lejonen Troy Batchelor Mikael Max Chris Holder Kenneth Bjerre Darcy Ward Dennis Andersson Mathias Thörnblom Indianerna Bjarne Pedersen Niels-Kristian Iversen Piotr Protasiewicz Joonas Kylmäkorpi Ryan Sullivan Antonio Lindbäck Simon Gustafsson First it will be interesting to see if Holder will show up or if he is "injured" again. Anyway with or without him Lejonen will have to bring out their best skill if they want to avoid getting their scalps taken. Indianerna have only lost two meetings this season and only one meeting since mid may. Lejonen well they have and have had to deal with the reality that has got hold of them and they have only managed to win 5 meetings this season. If Holder doesn't show i think that Lejonen will have a difficult task to win against the series winner. Indianerna has as mentioned only lost two meetings this season (away against Västervik in May and against Hammarby two weeks ago) Antonio and Iversen switches places. Antonio showed very good form two days ago in Vetlanda and if he continues like this the Rio Rocket won't let Lejonen see anything more then "6" that rockets away from them. Also have in mind that out of Indianerna's 7 riders, 5 rode in Saturday's Grand Prix Challenge and 3 of them finished 1,2 & 3. So Indianerna looks glowing hot and seems to ride by the motto "Don't stop mr now coz's i having a good time...", while the form of Lejonen is uncertain. The final meeting this round is Piraterna vs. Valsarna Live scores. Piraterna Greg Hancock Linus Sundström Jonas Davidsson Daniel Davidsson Maciej Janowski Przemyslaw Pawlicki Piotr Pawlicki Valsarna Grigory Laguta Artem Laguta Tomas Gapinski Krzysztof Buczkowski Daniel Nermark Scott Nicholls Ludvig Lindgren Both teams are fighting for the safe ground in the top 4. Piraterna is currently 2nd 2p ahead of Valsarna in 5th. Piraterna is normally quite stable at home, having only lost at home to Indianerna last week and Lejonen in the second round. But Valsarna have done a good season so far and even if i think that Piraterna will win i think it will be pretty close. For Piraterna several of their riders have to do better then last week if they are to bring home the victory. Pz Pawlicki joins brother Pt Pawlicki at reserve.´ scores: http://www.svemo.se/Grenar/Speedway/ or at www.speedwaylive.se Vetlanda does not have a meeting this week. all the lineup info above courtesy of Svemo.se all info below courtesy of aktuellspeedway.se Afer this meeting only two rounds remaining 2011-08-30 Round 17: Elit Vetlanda - Lejonen Piraterna - Dackarna Vargarna - Indianerna Valsarna - Hammarby #tv meeting 2011-09-06 Round 18: Dackarna - Elit Vetlanda Hammarby - Piraterna Vargarna - Lejonen Vastervik - Valsarna current standings: Elitserien (position, team, #meetings, rider score difference and team points) 1. 3. apparently David Ruud has broken a rib and is suffering a concussion after the crash in Vetlanda. http://www.racemcspo...sbrott-for-ruud
  4. a coincidental(?) thing is that all three qualifiers are riding for the same team (Indianerna) in Sweden.
  5. imo Girgorij Laguta could deserve one as he have ridden very well in both Poland and Sweden. and being among the top riders in both.
  6. just read that David Ruud is ok but was taken to hospital for observation.
  7. i agree with you HenryW. Lindgren & Harris should not be considered. if the current standings is to judge from then i'd pick G.Laguta, Thj, Darcy (if he does well on torun) then as 4th pick i don"t know, Nicki maybe.
  8. Racing has been better then it is for series meeting and a few good heats but still allot of red victories despite poor starts. and also allot of from the gate.
  9. HD quality is also available. Click the green dots next to "fullskärm" and select HD|720p
  10. naturally since its a Official tv company stream. And SVT knows their stuff. HD quality is also available. Click the green dots next to "fullskärm" and select HD|720p Hasse don't count on it Vetlanda is almost always gating through whole meetings.
  11. first heat comment "from the gate". Get used to it it will be very often used tonight.
  12. Iris and me was referring to that Zetters, who are a very devoted Smederna fan/staff, is wearing a Vetlanda jersey. and i have to agree with Iris, how could he wear such a thing? anyway stream is here: http://svtplay.se/v/...enge_20_8_17_30
  13. stream link: http://svtplay.se/v/2488033/motor/speedway__gp_challenge_20_8_17_30
  14. forum member Zetters: http://www.elitvetla...-traning-10.jpg. obviously there is something very wrong with his hockey jersey.
  15. i think the SVT's webstream might be available for sometime afterwards but i am not sure.
  16. good video, there was also a newspaper article on the same topic posted a while ago. In case anyone missed it here it is http://www.dn.se/sport/fran-roslagens-famn-motvm-guld its in Swedish though.
  17. forecasts look pretty good with partially sunny/cloudy weather.
  18. apparently the refereeing will be handled by Marek Wojaczek while Krister Gardell will be race director.
  19. well its not really a matter only of being good enough or not, have a bad day (like a flat tyre, or being crashed into by someone else and etc...) and you are out. It also have to do with the draw and if you're lucky/unlucky to get this or that track earlier in the qualifying stage and who you're opponents are. Some quarters/semi finals and etc have a stronger draw while other are weaker. And a rider that misses out from the stronger QF might still be better then those from the weaker semi or quarter or etc...
  20. Jacob is not listed in the preliminary lineup, however changes can happen. Anyway if you want to send Jacob a greeting either send it via "forum Anders" (as he is Team manager for Nässjö) or directly to Jacob on Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/jacobthorssell
  21. SVT webbroadcast will be available for everyone regardless of where you live. So tune in SVT play: http://svtplay.se/ on Saturday at 17.30 Swedish time (it will be broadcasted with a slight delay). I think THJ would do very good against these if he would be in, as it is his Swedish hometrack. I also still think that it should be more the 1 final round. Maybe 2 or 3 on different kinds of tracks, since this year those who can gate will be very favoured and in the same was at racers ahave an disadvantage as its very difficult to pass on this track.
  22. as mentioned before SVT will broadcast the final and the web broadcast will be available for all (even if you are outside Sweden). http://svtplay.se/c/96248/sport?cb,a1364159,1,f,-1/sb,a1595996,1,f,
  23. Daniel Gunnestad have a new website; http://www.gunnestad-racing.com/ go make a visit.
  24. you are correct that there are no live meetings but you do have a few meetings in the archive to watch: http://speedwayallsv...se/matcher.html Also very nice to see such a good attendance at Indianerna's meeting: 5079
  25. yeah you're right about that. Anyway good win for Västervik. but oh how wrong i was about Indianerna. Good win by Indianerna A very good evening for "my other teams". They all won. So i think i'm going to celebrate with some chocolate pudding.
