One Sport have agreed on not to hand out season permanent wild cards and possible there is (or at least IMO it should be) a similar agreement for BSI not to give wild cards/injury call ups to SEC season permanent riders.

That is a very good reason to leave him out. He had a very good run but it should be over now. It's time to go separate ways and let the young guns show the way to the future. He might do another year or two seasons then in the leagues before he retires. We also don't know how his shoulder injury will affect him in the future but there is no way that BSI/FIM would dare to leave him out though. For me it's not about who is most worthy but who would bring most entertainment and that is most definitely not Greg. He relies too much on his gating nowadays.

Imo, it is too early to talk/discuss wild cards. I think we should atleast wait until after the Grand Prix challenge to see what riders who qualifies and which riders who misses out on qualification via GPCh. Then there is too many round remaining of the SGP and allot can still happen. If Lindbäck have find his usual "half season form" then he might not need a wild card. Ther points difference aren't huge either, only 16 p between 4th and 12tg.

I agree with this. Crump, T-rick and Gollob might haven been better then today's top riders but like you say, the SGP have a more even standard this season. All rider have a good chance of winning a GP round and they aren't really "fillers" like many riders have been previous seasons.

Uhm yeah sure, As far as I am concerned he have been rubbish all season long. He is 48th in the Swedish rider ranking for 2017. Neither Iversen or KIldemand are good choices but they are less bad choices then MJJ or Michelsen.

The last few heats have been good but the first 14-15 heats or so weren't that great. It shouldn't have to take until the last round of 5 before the tracks offers good racing.
