  1. Better tell him he's working tomorrow as well! We are utter psih!
  2. Just watched the GP and am delighted for Tai. Shame for Emil, but didn't he take it well. Could turn out to be a great GP series this year with so many of the top riders behind Emil and Tai. Here's hoping.
  3. I'm a bit disappointed in Glasgow's handling of this whole affair. Transfers should only be discussed in public once the ink is dry. To say they had an announcement on Sunday was a tad misleading to those who turned up expecting something. Then to make this public could potentially get right up the nose of Louis and work against us. If I was Louis I'd be saying much stronger things than he has in this interview.
  4. Accepted Mr B, but you must admit yourself you're usually on the wind up on Glasgow threads and some of us are just getting a bit fed up with this "big announcement" tactic from our own promotion. And whilst I'm on about it, when did a rider's wishes to sign become an announcement? Oh yes, I'd like to give one to Beyonce. Now if I did give one to her, that would be an announcement. He's got the speed to pass others, something else is missing.
  5. The real announcement which no one believed was that you were going to post something on the BSF about Glasgow that would be worth reading and not an attempt at winding up.
  6. Again I couldn't make today however it does seem something needs to be done with team. Good news about JJ. If this is the "announcement" then from a personal point of view I'd like to point out one thing to our new promoters. In the past the Glasgow fans have been subjected to the tactic of "big announcement, be there or...." Call me a cynic, but it felt like I was being asked to pay to attend an announcement which then asked for more of my readies. Please new Glasgow promotion watch how you are using this tactic. One day you might really need it and the little boy will have cried wolf once too often.
  7. Ruthlessness is the X factor for him, no doubt. Someone needs to walk up to him before each meeting starts and give him a good hard kick in the nads. That might make him more nasty!
  8. I'd suggest a very positive reason. His development is on a quicker and steeper curve than those you compare him with. He is doing fantastically well at present and needs to use every meeting as a stepping stone. Any meeting spent against riders he can easily beat is a wasted opportunity to learn from those better and more experienced. I can understand why you'd want to hold on to him.
  9. Possibly. I was thinking more along the lines of the type of club Dickey Myer might swing into.
  10. Hopefully this isn't the type of message we've become accustomed to in the past. The promotion did say at the start that they didn't want to resort to the begging bowl.
  11. Could be a tough one, depends which Lions are on form on the day. Graversen could be a danger!
  12. Chicken tikka masala originated in Glasgow.
  13. I'm particularly interested in seeing how Joe Jacobs fairs. By all accounts ( what I've read) it seems he's starting to show some form at Ashfield and with a visit to Armadale under his belt already he might get a few points more than we're used to from a reserve. He'll do we'll to beat Joe Tabaka in a head to head though.
  14. In one swoop Eddie Kennett has to be THE signing of the season and the most intruiging from a rider perspective. A fantastic move by the Bandits. Truly hope the fans now come out in force and swell the gates to support it.
  15. Thanks Tsunami. An afternoon start at Newcastle in future would be appreciated if you have any influence.
  16. Don't mind the studio guy. Means I can get a beer from the fridge without missing anything.
  17. I would have gone with the wee one today if it was that time. Scotland's Secret Bunker got the cash instead.
