Only bright spot of the night was Andy Barlow saying he was disappointed in how speedway was promoted in this country and might give it a go well welcome to Shielfield Andy. With regards to the speedway how do we have the ability to pick the cr*p guest every week that has to be a talent in its own right. Season over roll on the x-factor. -
Sadly we have fallen into the same trap as when Lee Complin was injured and it has'nt worked and unless there is a fantastic turnaround in our fortunes at Rye our season is over. Understand there may be no riders that are available and the ones that are want a Kings ransom but what price do you put on survival. Suspect crowd levels will fall dramatically after this last few days

Not stealing anybody's thunder but spoke to him today keen to make a start and an impression

Would just like to say welcome to the Bandits latest signing and club asset on completion of the required matches an exciting prospect by all accounts

Assuming that Claus gives the usual patient response to a Consultants assessment about a knee injury and by what I read in the speedway star as Claus's interpretation of that feed back I would suggest that Claus should go and get his knee fixed now before he ends up with more than he bargains for, he's a young lad making a living in motor sport, be sensible get it sorted now and come back stronger next year.

The name of the game is assets therefore either Holub, Kcrmar or Vaculik would fit the bill

Another top quality result tonight and best wishes for a speedy recovery goes to Claus. What was the crowd like tonight as I am watching from the other side of the world this week. Top notch reporting from me old mucker Ed as usual. -

At present it appears we are a rudderless ship there seems to be no motivation and sadly I think no fear factor I have in the past been a fierce critic of Peter Waite but he didn't suffer fools or carry passengers and that's what we've got. Backed up by a deluded centre green presenter who sometime has difficulty knowing who is in a race far less giving an unbiased account of what has happened. Sort it out Berwick its slipping away 😂😂 -
With Edberg gone never to return does that leave the door open for the return of Jade Mudgeway?? Answers on a fag packet please.

Agree to a certain degree that riders do have a responsibility to provide the tools of the trade however the club have a duty to the fans to provide a level of entertainment for monies received and as the fans have no contract with the riders then that responsibility falls on said club now we could go into a long drawn out argument about the legal aspect but will save that for another debate. Fans expectation versus riders inability to provide balanced by inability to earn due to lack of funds and those fans not happy with provision of product = legal minefield -

I think the biggest disappointment last night was as the match slipped away no attempt was made to change that. I remember a few years ago at Workington the bandits had the upper hand and out came Ian Thomas and him and Stoney spent 30mins changing the track and then Worky went on to win easily. That's what being a manager is about influencing any aspect of the meeting you can if it improves the chance of a win. -
