  1. I've already said earlier in this thread, when the Portuguese national anthem is played I enjoy singing along to it.. or la'ing along to it more appropriately as I don't know all the words. And again, what are you talking about? I CANNOT make a nationality change. I CANNOT just decide I'm Portuguese, it doesn't work like that. Of all the inane comments on here, THIS one and ones like it are far worse. If you don't like a thread, don't read it, its very simple. Why oh why anybody wastes their time to post on something they have zero interest in I will never ever understand. Perhaps I'm missing out on something.. I might go and find a ballroom dancing forum and post to close a thread on there as I have no interest in it.
  2. They don't, because he IS British. No rationalisation needed. He is British. His passport is British. By law he is British. I'm British, I live in Portugal. I love Portugal but I can't wake up tomorrow and decide I'm Portuguese. I could sing their national anthem, I could tattoo the Portuguese flag on my face and Cristiano Ronaldo on my back, it won't make the slightest bit of difference, I'll still be British.
  3. How so? KK or someone like Aaron Summers...
  4. Says the man with a signature attacking people. Well done though, you've observed and remembered he has an Aussie tattoo, that's progress. However, 'tattoos' don't have any impact on your nationality.
  5. He was trying to help you, This matter is not an opinion. It is a factual matter. Tai Woffinden is British.
  6. Same old story, treating the fans with contempt. Summers wouldn't be on it as he rode solely as a second string.
  7. It's got nothing to do with the heat leader list Steve. The 'list' is just to prevent clubs from signing lots of riders on falsely low averages, it doesn't mean they will be starting as heat leaders.
  8. No coverage is crap. We had coverage, so that was good I take your point though, Eurosport are amateurish. GP's are better on there though!
  9. The usual blind south coast attitude.
  10. It doesn't matter how many times you say it, it is still wrong. He isn't an Aussie. He is British. That is 100% bona fide fact.
  11. There was an intelligent debate taking place.... Nice signature, must have took you a while to come up with something so witty.
  12. Although he most certainly wouldn't be close to being first choice Batchelor is better that most options we have right now. As indeed is KK.
  13. He'd be an awesome signing. They need a big name, a crowd pleaser, a track specialist, someone who you know will give their all. KK is that man.
  14. They are very good signings IF Wolves manage to secure a proper No 1. There isn't even an argument against that.
  15. If Wolves managed to pull of a good signing at No 1, plus PK was not on the heat leader list, they'd suddenly become title contenders. Chances of that are very slim though.
  16. Not very good at this numbers game are you.
  17. One assumes you are referring to the commentary, which although not perfect, was perfectly fine. The actual pictures were of course nothing to do with Eurosport and most certainly weren't 'crap'.
  18. Cradley would be able to run on Tuesdays if and when necessary.
  19. The only viable double header is Wolves and Cradley. There is no need at all to increase the price to £23. The issue with normal double headers is you have one fan base, in this case you don't. You have two, entirely separate fan bases. Leave the admission at £18, no Wolves fans are lost then... the majority of Cradley fans would still go, they're not that bright. You're then making an extra £8 on them.. that compensates for any that opt out. Factor in only one set of costs for stadium hire and other operational facilities and they're onto quite an earner.
  20. You've got this completely backwards. The ONLY way this could work is this way as it is two totally separate fan bases. Wolves running a NL team on alternate weeks to the EL team? You'd get about 100 there. One way it would work out far better is Wolves and Cradley both in the EL, Cradley have the crowds to sustain it, and the derby clashes, the place would be rammed. However, they're not going to give up the cash cow that is NL racing with the Wolves reserve team.. cough.. sorry, I mean Cradley.
  21. In some ways you have to credit CVS. He's found a way to make the TNT plan work! Had he run Elite League one week with Wolves and a Wolves NL or even PL team the next week.. the crowd for the lower league would have been awful. However, simply call it Cradley and as we have seen the Heathens come out en masse. The landlords are kept happy as extra meetings, on the night they want them on and the books are nicely balanced with the money made from Cradley.
  22. Correct, most won't grasp that however and will view fortnightly speedway as a bad thing, as we are already seeing on here and on other social media forums. The promotion were very naïve to not think that would be the case. What they should have done, at the same time as the Cradley announcement was put out a statement explaining the situation.... maybe even put a bit of spin on it. Leaving it as it is has one result, negative publicity.
  23. The statement isn't just about Cradley. The statement clearly states Wolverhampton Speedway will be running on alternate Mondays. The very fact that Wolves fans are questioning it is reason enough for a statement to have been issued. The lack of one simply treats supporters with contempt and the attitude of "Why should we put a statement out" just fuels that. Although the number of meetings won't change, fortnightly speedway is something a number of fans have been very vocally against... now it is here.
  24. The stock answer.. there are 'plausible explanations'. No there aren't. The official head of the investigation has clearly stated that there aren't. The 'plausible explanations' are as much theory as the ones labelled a 'conspiracy' and backed up with no evidence. As for Building 7.. , there weren't buildings falling down left right and centre, two collapsed, they were quite big and you couldn't really miss them. I accept many of the conspiracy theories are wild and wacky and full of holes, BUT there are many, many unanswered questions that cast a great deal of doubt on the official version of events. Sadly, many folk throw them all into one pot, which is precisely what the authorities want you to do. Anyway, probably one of the biggest sidetracks on a thread ever! Back to the point. Tai Woffinden is British. That is a fact we can agree on
  25. Of course! And on one Monday his costs are a hell of a lot lower.
