Kenneth Bjerre is going to UK this weekend, they are planning to take the ferry on Saturday. The purpose is the annual training with the riders on the National Team. The last few years they have been training in Italy, but the weather has not been the best down there last year, so the National coach choose UK instead this year. The track to ride on is : Kings Lynn in two days (Monday and Tuesday), and afterwards a few days at Scunthorpe. Kenneth will be going to Manchester instead of Scunthorpe due to the P&P on Wednesday. Kenneth is eager to get on the bikes again and is highly motivated.

I would prefer all the finals.

Hya iris123! Danish Open and Danish individual Championship are two separat meetings. The Danish open is still on "the drawing-board". The indivual Danish championship is raced over two meetings with only Danish riders.

hehehe. I don't know yet, but I'll try to find some more info about it.

The Danish Speedway site, speedwaynet.dk has heard the names of the Danish GP qualifiers somewhere on the water pipes. According to Kjeld Lund they are : Hans Andersen Kenneth Bjerre PUK (Niels-Kristian Iversen) Jesper B. Jensen. Charlie Gjedde did not get the chance to qualify at the time being. He might be a kind of reserve for the qualifiers to the Grand Finale in Vetlanda, but I don't know the exact rules for this.

The track is pretty close to the Danish island Rømø on the westcoast of Jutland. -
Hya Iris123 ! Speedwaynet.dk has all the Polish Xtra-league dates in the News section. Regarding the Superliga fixtures in Denmark I have not heard anything yet.

Wild Cards For Copenhagen

Just start throwing. It will for sure be KB as he did not get it last year even though he was the first reserve. They did som political decissions in the Danish Camp choosing PUK instead of KB. Very bad management from Ole and his staff. -
I have tried to translate the article. There might be mistakes due to small differencies in the Norwegian and Danish languages, but I think it will do. Here it is : Holta receives death threats Rune Holta has changed club. In the ”Speedway-mad” Poland this is not done un-punished. Øyvind Ellingsen Tuesday Rune Holta signed for his new Polish club, Rzeszow. It was not liked by his faithfull supporters in Czestochowa. Closed the homepage - I have been in Czestochowa in seven years and it was time to get new impulses and challenges. But it has not been easy, Rune Holta says to Aftenbladet. The 32 year old has been the captain on Czestochowass speedwayteam for the last few years. He has been the best collector of points for the team too and was last year SWC champion with the Polish flag on the chest. Holta has double nationality and has both Polish passport and drivers license. - Here in Poland the interest of speedway is huge, and many supporters have been sad that I changed club. And some threats there have been as well, Holta says. He had to close his guestbook on his homepage. There were to many threats and to many unserious postings. - The majority of my supporters are reasonable people who have undersanding for the club-change. But a few has taken it extra sad, Holta says. He takes both his Polish manager and his mechanics with him to Rzeszow. Then it is a very good thing that the manager Robert Geziarz is a bear of almost 2 meters – who can act as bodyguard too. The club change can in many ways be compared to if the Viking-capain Brede Hangeland should change to Brann. (Norweigan footy, I think) Rzeszow like Vetlanda - I can’t take all the threats seriously but it is far from an ideal good situation I’m in, Holta says in the phone from Poland. He is about to arrange a “farewell-party” for his Polish sponsors in the city Czestochowa. - The main reason why I choose to change to Rzeszow was that they have one mainsponsor- and one boss. The organization is much like in my Swedish club Vetlanda, Holta says. In Vetlanda it is a big window producer who is the mainsponsor. In Poland it is a big plasticfactory that owns the speedwayclub. Rzeszow has moved up into the Polish elite-league, and is ”gambling freshly” with Rune Holta and the Danish former World Champion as the only non-Polish riders. Two mile from Ukraina - The club has the 2 most promishing juniors in the stable and this is going to be very important next year. A change of the rules do that all clubs must at least have 2 Polish juniors in the Line-up. We have a big advantage here, but our aim for the season is only to get established in the Eliteleague, Randaberg-karen says. Rzeszow lies close to the Ukrainian Border. The neares airport lies in Krakow. - It is going to be quite a long drive for my mechanics, from Rzeszow to Sweden every second Sunday. But it will do, Holta says and laugh. Racing in 4 countries, Sweden, Denmark,Poland and Hungary, he is used to travelling and airports.

It has to be Kenneth Bjerre -
Right you are Iris123! Kenneth had his share of mechanical cremlins last year. I think he will have much more reliable equipment this year, hopefully. cya sometime somewhere.
-
Hmmmmmmmmm Kenneth has actually signed for Wroclaw for the comming season.
-
Kenneth Bjerre has signed a contract for the Polish club Sparta Wroclaw for the comming season. The team, behind Kenneth, says that a lot of Polish clubs has been interested in Kenneth.
-
New rising star or is it just Schlein ? ? ? Congrats anyway.
-
What a major laugh to put the Pole in front of KB on this list, and I do not mean the Norwegian Pole. Hans A. is OK, but then I think KB should have been on as second reserve.
-
Copy and pasted from KB's homepage. 15/11 Status of the recovery. Kenneth was visitting the hospital for a control of the recovery of the injuries in his leg. The specialists were satisfied with the recovery of the leg, and a little impressed of the speed as it seemed to be ahead of usual time. Linaments and muscles do need some more, and hard, work though, but there is no doubt that Kenneth will be back on the tracks in the 2006 season.

?????? I don't get it. Hmmm I think I got it now. Just bare over with me. I'm working with some very old RAM-blocksa and a very slow CPU (especially on mondays). Better get my head modyfied/upgraded to a faster CPU and RAMs.

Copy and pasted from KB's homepage: 12/11 Another signing for 2006 done. Kenneth has signed for the following clubs for the 2006 season : Sweden : PIRATERNA. England : BELLE VUE ACES. Denmark : SLANGERUP. POLAND : ? ? ? ? ? Kenneth is going to the hospital in the upcomming week for another control. He is hoping to be allowed to "get rid of" the crutches.

Hans Andersen Statement
garf replied to Subedei's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Okie Iris! In fact the 3 riders did ride at Holsted last year as well, and that did not give them the championship. But you are right. The qualification rounds will give the best riders of the days a chance to get into the GP-circus. As it is now, it is just very much politics and buisiness, and very little sport. -

I'm sorry to correct you Iris123. IMO PUK is not even close to be in the top 3 in Denmark. Hans A. is a far better rider, but I think he has been critizing the GP-circus to much. Had KB not had his injury, I really think he would have been in instead of PUK, now Hans A was not getting the WC. I just wondered why they did not choose Gjedde instead of PUK. Hmmmmmm. Maybe you are right about what you are saying regarding Holsted and a strong leader. -
I think so! I'm told he was planning to, and I haven't heard anything else. I believe he left Esbjerg yesterday.

Copy and pasted from KB's homepage: Some months has now passed since the terrible day on the Fjelsted track. Kenneth is in good spirit a little restless and quite impatient waiting for the new season . . . . . At the moment Kenneth is progressing very well. The physiotherapist is satisfied with the healing and the build up of the muscles in the leg is progressing very well too. One reason of the progress might be that Kenneth has now been allowed driving a car for some weeks which is giving him some training on the leg operating the clutch at the shifting of gears. These improvements that Kenneth has made at this state is giving the team an almost 100 % believe in that Kenneth will be back on the tracks at the beginning of the season. Completely fit for racing. At this moment it is not certain that the national team will be gathered for practicing in February as usual. No matter what, Kenneth will be going for a practicing stay somewhere in the south before the season opening.

So what kind of debat is this then ? As I see, and read it, it is on kindergarten level. Please grow up and behave or stop wasting the bandwith and all the precius time of the supporters on this great site.
