Kenneth might be injured for this very moment, but he is planning to be back on the bikes for the national training trip next February. Had Kenneth not got injured, I think he would have been nominated as one of the first "extra riders". (Might be a litle biased here)

Great posting. Seems to that the FIM has really F..... up big time. And what an unpleasant way becoming world champion. KK will probably be remembered as the one who was given the championship, or even as the best "swimmer of the day". I would have preferred a re-run. Much more fair.

I can see what you mean, but honestly a qualifier would be much more fair than just some people choosing riders of political reasons (or money language). The rider Chrzanowski did qualify but lacked the stability. In fact he has been very very poor in all the GP's. I would say that any of the Wild Cards would have done much better. Not forgetting the first reserve Kenneth Bjerre either. Had he been in for all the GP's, he would probably have been scoring points enough for a placement around the 8-10 spot.

Jonas did actually do well in his first heat with a win. In his second he crashed and broke a rib and bended a few more. He has a lot of pain in the moment, and was staying on the hospitalt the night over. I got these info from KB's family who visited Jonas and his family on the hospital last night.

KB won his third Danish Junior Championship in a row, and the fourth in all. The one he participated without winning was in 2002, where he was the runner-up after PUK. His fist championship was in 2000, and he was not allowed to participate in 2001 due to some rules-thing. (He was classified as a A-rider due to the win of the win in 2000. At that time the competition was called the B Danish Championships). The rules were changed sometime in 2001/2002 and the competition renamed. And of course the score-sheet is on KB's homepage as well.

In Germanic tales or believes PUK is a little pixy. As I remember, according to Danish tales or believes, a PUK is a little "forrest-elf or fairy" teasing the humans all the time.

And it is certainly much easier to write than his baptised name.
