as regard ticket sales I think you'll find that the tickets have been given to people like ticket master and they still have to sell them. They still haven't sold out yet by a long way

The times I have seen Bird ride he has been PANTS. I think the highest score I have seen him get in about 8 meetings is 4 points

Something tells me that Derwent is a bit miffed that Stonehewer isn't in the team, and looking at the way he rides Belle Vue its no wonder he wasn't picked for the Danish tight tracks.

He'll miraculously get better for the G.P. though

obviously they haven't seen him ride at Oxford, Belle Vue, Wolverhampton just to name a few, its the motorway track at Poole and the big Peterborough and Kings Lynn tracks he hates although I have seen him beat Sullivan at Pboro and Crump at Kings Lynn. I think its all down to finance but this year he has got a lot more sponsorship

quite agree I remember when everyone was moaning about Martin Dugard getting in the G.P. on a wild card and what happened to him. Floppy's away average the last two years has vastly improved to over 7.50 . Admittedly he would struggle at a Kings Lynn or Peterborough type track but the Danish tracks are small and slick which will suit him more than Wilson , Stonehewer and Stead
