tony goes well but charles is a must seems people think branford wont be back if that is the case we will need another big hitter how about perry i would love to see lewis kerr at buxton but i cant see that would gary irving fitt who knows but we need a heat leader
-
been told charles wright could be stoke bound in swap for tony atkin i think buxton would be silly to fall for that one but if he is still at glasgow i can see it happening is branford coming back to buxton would love to know
-
hy stop trying to pinch branford or wright give buxton a fighting chance i bet your promotors can offer more than buxton but if you need better oposition dont take all the top men away from us
-
i attended buxton awards night and it was a pleasent evening even though my other half refused to dance one of the highlight was deans son who seemed to get the most interviews and photos than any one a rum one if ev er i saw one lovely kiddie it was sad to see dean retire but like he said everything comes to an end goood luck and thanks dean for the entertainment you gave us over the years its also a relieve to hear that we are running next year and from what richard said most of last years team will be back but speaking to jack it look like charles need some help if he agrees to come back so how about a riders fund or something to help all the team even if say we throw our loose change into a bucket at the entrance anyy way hears to next year

Scunthorpe Saints - Not Entering N L 2013 :(
speedy bill replied to bigred's topic in National League Speedway
i agree its about time the b s p a or whoever started to order the premire league to sign more riders out of the national league every year prem teams are allowed to have forign riders at res its not the way to go national league riders get to a point were they are good enough to be given a chance at res but hit a brick wall because the prem teams seem to prefair to bring in jonny some from other country instead of giving a chance to a britt who as searved his apprenticship in the national ;league get a grip make it a rule every team must have at least one rider from the national league in the team every year. -

stop calling the national league a training league,it as outgrown that status the the junior league is the training league the national league is a third division and is more proffesonal now that is a fact sorry e up malcolm feeling guilty -

just what is the future at buxton i just hope things can be sorted to see them at the tapes in 2013,just what they can do to atract more people to attend .it seems to me not many locals attend and that must be somthing to look at getting more buxton people interested.i sometimes call to a pub in buxton after meetings and have been asked by people who see me looking at the programe were the speedway is they are surprised that they have no idea that it was there. most have said oh we used to go to belle vue years ago,but had never seen any posters addvertising buxton speedway so perhaps that could be something to look at .i just hope they can get over there problems.

hi jayne can you object to sheffields plans to stop them from running sundays its bin your race day for years.
-
in s/s this week says sheffield want to change race day to a sunday if this happens i am afriad it will be the end of buxton quite a lot of people come over from sheffield every week to buxton and if this happens it will mean a further reduction in crowds that can not be covered
-
i beleive charles wright is looking at stoke dont go charlie we love you at buxton and jayne pays you
-
like i said in a earlyer post get rid of heat 15 it will save money for the promoter, just swap heat 13 and 14 around your thinking like me greyhoundp
-
i think to help teams save money a revert to say 14 heats just by changing the format by changing heat 13 and 14 around so heat 14 has number 1 and 5 meeting.oposites1 and 5 like heat 13 now.no riders with over a 4 point premire league ave allowed unless he as no premire place but ruled out if he goes premire.averages change after 4 matchess that i think could be a start to cutting cost for some clubs just by dropping one race what you think.
-
realy enjoyed the meeting last night as -usual the hitmen put on a fighting preformance, the meeting run smooth done and dusted in hour and half no messing around elite league take note And heat 14 worth the admission money alone. All you forign ups Elite league snobs missed a treat give these boys a chance go watch em next year could be the only speedway going.Always fall off bull dung go watch em before passing judgment.
-
hope the weather holds up got couple of days off going to spend it with a mate who lives near boston and have got him to come to speedway with me good to know at full strength for a change
-
might go to this but only if buxton are at full strenght i e is wrighty riding and preisty could be a away win for us in what could be buxtons last away meeting ever or is there hope for next year

my team would be Stead Haines Grosonick Wells Hall Skidders Lambert with Jack Lee as manager if Buxton dont run, dont know if averages fitt but be a good team .

Mildenhall V Buxton (nt) 16/9/12
speedy bill replied to Fozzie4388's topic in National League Speedway
mrs moss does not need to attened all meetings she employs a competant team manager who seems to run the team quite well without her having to be their.that is the reason he does that job because mrs moss cannot be traveling away with two young children to see to -
i know buxton crowds are down but to just close. ken moss who was a gentleman which is more than i can say for most people in speedway ,must be turning in his grave at the thought of buxton closeing

wy know charles wright seems he dont realy want to ride for buxton he wants to make his mind up instead of letting them down well no excuse glasgow not riding today.well done lewis kerr get him signed up for buxton was jayne at mildy or is she just not bothered any more if not sell up girl -
if the moss family pull out at buxton there must be someone who will fancy making a go of it.

what is going to happen to the national league next season,so far buxton and kings lynn look dodgy and i can not see stoke as being able to carry on with the crowds i have seen there.i think if the nowich track runs kings lynn will drop out and buxton will close or have new people in to run it,i think teams are being priced out by some teams paying way over the pay rates to attract the best riders stoke seem to sign a couple of new riders every week haines going to dudley i know from a good source that buxton asked him to ride but he turned them down obviously dudley pay better than buxton you only have to look at the difference in their crowds to see that. the league needs to be better balanced so we the supporters get closer meetings,i dont claim to know the answer to the situation the national league as got itself into but it wants sorting or i fear for its very existence.
-
i think buxton beat themselves today, but you cant take it away from milldys five rider team.tony atkin was a good guest and adam dean and to a lesser extent ryan but we had a up hill task it all went well till heat10 then milldy went up a gear we cant realy expect to winn without wrighty branford and preist missing but the lads did there best and that is what matters lets hope now glasgow have finished we will have wrighty back for rest of meetings at home so we can finish on a high note any one know when priesty is back
-
tomoz buxton take on the mighty milldenhall the last time the teams met milldy cheated in heat fifteen to ###### a draw tomoz if buxton have a good guest and preisty is back it should be a close meeting but buxton will need to fire on all cylinders i am looking forward to a close meeting and hope the track is in good shape to help the riders of the home team come on deano get your boys up for it HITMANPOWER
