just heard Jake as retired, must say pretty poor show from him if every rider retired after being dropped wont be any left come on Jake man up get back on your bike. Having seen the line ups for tonight at SHEFFIELD i notice that Jordon Tyre is not included just when will this man ride in a meeting he just seems to practice but never races, just what is going on with him/
-
Come on Jake Knight dont give up your dad was a great rider and you can be to get back on your bike ride for Buxton and prove you are good enough to ride speedway in the Premire league but you have got to be riding to get another chance.
-
Sorry to hear of Jake Knights decision not to join Buxton, just as we get a good team together we are hit with news like this.Come on Jake get yourself together and back on a bike.If you dont ride you cant expect to get another chance in the Premire league.Come on Jake you can do it.
-
Sorry that Jake is giving speedway a miss surly it would be better for him to keep riding because once you stop people soon forget you when looking for riders. He would be a big scorer in the National league and then attract other Premier teams when they look for riders ,it would boost his confidence to start getting race wins under his belt.Come on Jake take your place in the Buxton team and restore your confidence .

ha justice the rain put an end to Dudleys hopes of catching us with a weakened team, now lets hope both teams are at full strength for the re staging of this meeting then we will be treated to a good match come on Hitmen lets get em Ommered.
-
No Buxton s chance as been taken away how convenient that Carr and not Starke as to ride for Berwick tomorrow, looks like Buxton have been stiched up Dudley must have been scared of loosing this meeting Buxton will not be at full strenght thanks to Dudley i hope Buxton beat your win at all cost team.Come on Hitman Power
-
No i have not seen lineup just got in from pub,why is Liam Carr not riding is he injured or something, did not know we got Jake knight you should check Starke will be at Glasgow sunday.
-
Now buxton have signed Liam Carr they look stronger and might just manage to pull back the 16 points needed to see off Dudley i hope Ryan is back so we have some sort of a chance Berwick are at Glasgow and Paul Starke will be missing for Dudley if Liam can produce the form he showed last week a winn could be on the cards come on Hitmen ommer em. Mod Note: Again, for meetings put in team names and date.

What a great meeting between two teams prepared to give youngsters a chance the best speedway i have seen all season anywhere the dust was a problem but at Buxton you get rain or sun ts always different weather wise but a good win for the boys once Matt and Ryan calm down the team will be ok Charles and Boxall give us three splendid races you couldnt see better anywhere well pleased with meeting and result
-
Buxton GOT A DRAW at Stoke I O W got a draw at Stoke, what happened at Buxton v I O W Adam Ellis he was brilliant. Lets see how we go tomoz before we start panicking, and away at I O W on tuesday if we get beaten tomoz and hammered on tuesday then we must make changes at the bottom end,Leon Carr,Chris Widman or even Benji Compton who i believe wants to ride again would do nicely.
-
Only Charles can hold his head up after todays meeting, our riders just did not gate good and when they did seemed to be outpased i know Tyler is only a young lad but to me hes just not ready for National league like Micky Niele last year,, he now should be given a chance at a team place.Something should be done to strengthen us a number two come on Jack get it done before the League meetings start.
-
well done to the Hitmen great result, and if Ryan would have had a good night we could have won.Impressed with the reserves especially Matt he looked the part when he hit the front in heat 12 but well done the lads what a good come back from being 13 down to snatching a draw Charles and Tony team rode well in heat 15 well done.
-
Just seen line ups cant believe Widders as been let go,will have to see what Grevier is like. But if he lets the team down once more it will serve em right.Think Jack must be loosing the plot in his old age to let Widders go but we will see.
-
hope to get to Stoke tomoz,to see the lads beat the potters. If they all ride like they did sunday we have a good chance. Will Widders have to be at two because we got away with him at reserve on sunday. But it will be better for Tom being down at res i think we have got the stronger 6 and7 than Stoke if Tony as sorted his bike out we can win this one i feel very up about this team.
-
At Buxton on sunday it was a nice win for the new team, but it was a shame that the p a broke down,it is something that does not happen as a rule so people stop slagging Jayne off it could happen at any event. You have had some problem,s at Stoke with electrics so it proves it can happen anywhere.it was good to see ADAM going well Widdman looked good so did Ryan in his first two rides and new boys Tom and Matt tony is better than he was on sunday when he gets going and Charles was great i think we are in for a good season and we could reach the plat offs fingers crossed.
-
well done today to the Hitmen, even though we had some falls and Tony seemed to have bike problems.Nice to see Chris Widman back and very impressed with both Williamson and Whooley well done all the team.
-
then its time to get someone who is interested in Buxton speedway to do it

Some friends from Wales came to stay over the Easter holls, and i persuaded them to come along to Belle Vue with us to watch our sport non of them having ever been to the speedway before.but because we are always going on about speedway they said they would come,to see this great spectral. they were not to impressed but said it was alright for a change but did not think they would go again. But after some persuading from me,and saying that Sheffield is a much better race track we all went off last night to Sheffield, but after about heat seven they had lost interest, hardly any passing and races all over after the first lap.Yes my friends husband Wes said it seemed allot faster than at Belle Vue but the riders just seem to follow each other around for four laps he commented they might as well have one lap races the result would be the same.He just couldn't see what all the fuss we made was all about.I must admit he was right to a point just what is happening to our sport, were has the racing gone,is it the tracks fault the bikes fault or the riders fault, anyone know the answer.Yes there was to many strung out races big gaps between riders,Sheffield has always been a good place to watch speedway but if last night was a normal meeting somethings will have to change,to keep the fans happy.New supporters will not be attracted to the sport if the racing is poor,i now have a hard job to get my friends to ever go to speedway again, just one other track left in my area to take them and Buxton had better not let me down.Any one got a answer what can be done to get passing back into our sport.

Looks like we might have a trump card in Matt Williamson,if he can get round Plymouth he will be ok at Buxton. And Tommy whooly will do well,i dont know anything about Tailor Govier but if he can get a couple of points, that will do i was a bitt negative about the team at first but now i am looking forward to seeing them ride.roll on April 21.
-
looks like we might have another one to watch in Matt Williamson,he scored well tonight in his first speedway meeting and made the under 21 final not a bad start well done Matt.

HEY jayne looks like you have a rider in Matt Williamson who could make a difference he scored well tonight at Plymouth so it will be interesting to see him improve over the season.I have seen Robs name listed in the field for the under 21 final, does that mean he is returning after all,if so i bet Milldenhall will find away to fitt him in .
