I think that's an interesting point,maybe the home riders didn't like it,but as a paying punter I came away happy that I'd just seen some good entertainment I guess it's a tough one for any track curator,does he make it for the fans or the home riders,having seen some great racing at Leicester once last year on a track the home riders hated,following week the riders were happy and the racing shyte,I think I'd go for the entertainment option

Surely the track is prepared before a meeting,not during it so being on the mic shouldn't make a great deal of difference

Over 15 heats I think that was a fair result...some good racing Auty and Barker going at it was great entertainment Few dodgy decision along the way and a last heat decider all adding to the meeting Good night out

A classic case of mistaken identities

10 heats in an hour and half,lots of tractor laps and few crashes,,was the a problem with the track?? See I few riders tweeting it was a rough ride?.

Who says anything about him being replaced,??,,,,,think the journalist who reported it needs to check his info judging by the replies from the Bates family on twitter.....

Seen quite a lot of Kerr at Scunny of the last couple for years and so pleased to see him step up and kick on...

Good meeting last night with some brutal first corners and top racing... Think a fair result in the end after the diamonds made a good fight back Good to meet up with tsunami and have proper Tory chin wag....the world is a better place for it I can tell you Special mention to Lewis Kerr...great to see another Brit looking the part, Should have called last night meeting Britains got talent as there was some on show

Richard Hall get some flack from a few Sheff folk but he really seems to have the bit between his teeth this year

What utter rubbish,two passes really all night...Howe on MK and Bjerre on MPT I saw the tractor more than I saw bikes........., "That the Dave Darcy stand everyone!!"---I couldn't give a rats ass what it is "MK is on some borrowed bike"......yes you dick you have told us 99 times "And now we have an interval".... Fecking hell is there any need?? Such as shame as the stadium is great and the viewing as good as anyway is speedway

I think the the chap on the centre green hit the nail on the head when there was a pass on the last bend and he described it as one of the best races ever seen!!.......it's cr ap, the track is simply sh y t e....such a shame as its a wonderfull,clean smart stadium,everything about it is brilliant except that god awfull track...why to they constantly grade the life out of it,it's killing it,seems to make a bit of dirt then out he comes with the tractor....game over!! Fair play to MK back and straight on the pace,and baby Bjerre looked really good,Lions will take some beating around there this year..good team The 5-1's in 6, 9 and 13 killed Scunny,Birks again very good as was Jorgensen,MPT battled away also, £18 with a program is just to much for PL speedway also
