Sgp 2017 Predictions
phillipsr replied to bruno's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
This proves the strentgh this year to me look at thst bottom 7 you could make a perfectly valid argument why everyone will be top 8.. i think Tai might drop down a little this year maybe around 5th/6th. -
So if another club announced your signing of Newman the night before the big unveiling at your quiz night all Poole fans would be ok with it? 😂😂 Starman would be on every thread (which he hates) complaining.. there was just no need for it
-
But it is crap!! It avoids every slightly controversial moment, plays favourites with certain riders and id just generally terrible value for money
-
Sorry but dont agree at all. Somerset currently look the weakest premiership but would fancy them to comfortably beat evert CL team home and away.. Man for man you would have every Somerset rider over every Scunthorpe rider.

Cook/King - Cook Jorgensen/Covatti - Jorgensen Proctor/Schlein - could go either way. Roynon/Newman - newman but not by a long way at Ipswich would be Newman would fancy Roynon at Worky though Campton/Heeps - Even - both can be good and awful in the same meeting Williamson/Mountain - Williamson Hume/Shuttleworth - now Shuttleworth end of season Hume Your basing it on how they ride Ipswich. Thats one meeting id fancy Workington to go better on other tracks than Ipswich -

Workington look ok to me you keep raving about Ipswich but man for man Workington look stronger -
Massive Tai fan but put simply hes made himself look a massive t**t here.
-
That was tried and Somerset fans got all upset about it
-
Then why in general do crowds drop when a team starts to lose at home? Im not looking for a fight just asking as i know Scunthorpe have struggled with crowd levels before
-
Thought you were bottom last year my apologies point still remains though will crowds drop away

Scunthorpe look like they will be bottom of the pile again how will that affect attendances?

Cant debate why just resort to calling someone a troll. To suggest Ipswich will be top 3 is laughable your either a troll or a child ill guess at the second -

I watch more than you by your own comments. Cook, Lambert, Worrall x2 Graj. will all average more Thats been said about Covatti and Newman every season and never happened. Mountain has had a massive injury amd Hume isnt close to Smith, JPB, Bacon etc Why because i dont rate this Ipswich side that highly -

So King had one good meeting on a shocking track? I dont think he will increase his average nor will he be the top number 1 in the league. Schlein could increase but several bad injuries will catch up with him. Covatti wont increase. Heeps and Newman are perrineal second strings cant see any improvement there Hume and Mountain will average between 2.50-3 do no great shakes there either -

1. Sheffield 2. Glasgow 3. Newcastle 4. Peterborough 5. Redcar 6. Edinburgh 7. Workington 8. Ipswich 9. Berwick 10. Scunthorpe -
Klindt wont be one tho id bet he wont be the highest averaging starting reserve at the end of the year (apart from with KKS and his multiple accounts, Monater Daz etc)
-
Poole havent got a string reserve though.. Klindt is s**t he has that average for a reason
-
TBF whenever he has ridden at Rye House he has been very good would of defo made us stronger but I'm still glad Robbo is back
-
Sheffield, Glasgow, Newcastle and Workington all look stronger so far. Considering Ipswich usually look good on paper and then bottle it it must be a worry that they dont even look good on paper this year
-
Thank God for that
-
Surprised Zach Whatisname ended up at Swindon thought he would be at Rye.. getting worried about the 3 pointer
-
Spot on, hes a bang average rider will maybe add half a point
-
Branford already signed and Morley to high.. Mountain rumoured that he wont be ready for start of the season
