  1. Steve Worrall is apparently missing tonight, so Monarchs will be using rider replacement. A poster on Monarchs Facebook page, quoting twitter as the source
  2. Peter Carr was okish when he came back?!?!?lol What would you class as doing well?
  3. I would hazard a guess that Blobby's post was aimed at spanner47's comment regarding nothing being on Edinburgh's official site regarding fixtures
  4. George English is not at all impressed by Richie Worrall letting Newcastle down by going to the SGP, as he was booked for 11 days, courtesy of the official Newcastle site
  5. Thanks for the reply, and I assume you mean Theo Pijper, but I don't imagine for one minute Newcastle would use Theo as a guest for this fixture. I can see the sense using him at Armadale, but not Brough Park.I can't see why his form around Armadale would influence a guest booking for Brough Park either?? Just reading on the Edinburgh v Newcastle thread that Richie Worrall guests for Lewis Kerr at Brough Park
  6. If you go onto the Newcastle page, and click News at the top, it is still there
  7. Would you turn up to your work if you weren't being paid?I wouldn't, and I only have minimal overheads for my work. Why should anyone get their engines tuned, and maintained, travelling costs, mechanics etc, when they are not being paid?
  8. Why were Pererborough so keen to stage this match today when they knew Lasse Bjerre would get a 28 day ban, and miss the 2nd leg as well. Surely Newcastle wanting to race Edinburgh today would have been perfect for the Panthers to rearrange this match, or would Lasse not have been riding anyway?
  9. Next home meeting is showing as v reserved, Sunday 5th October, 7pm Premier LeagueWhat point are you trying to make?
  10. Do you think the Peterborough promotion announced 15 days ago that Edinburgh were racing at the EOES on Sunday 5th October in the League Cup Final without agreeing it with Alex Harkess, Edinburgh promoter , and chairman of the BSPA?
  11. Newcastle site says v reservedEdinburgh, Peterborough, and BSPA sites have the League Cup Final listed
  12. I am sure your knowledge is correct, but the BSPA site, Speedway Star, Official Edinburgh site, and Official Peterborough site all have Peterborough v Edinburgh League Cup Final, Sunday 5th October at 2pm.If this FINAL is forced to be rescheduled at this late notice, then it shows the sport up for the farce it truly is. Why were Glasgow and Newcastle staging a KO Cup Quarter Final on the last Sunday in September? Edinburgh have been waiting a couple of months to find out their opponents, have a FINAL arranged, then George English clicks his fingers, and it is just a joke, but not a very funny one
  13. Common sense must prevail here. Peterborough and Edinburgh agreed to the 1st leg of the League Cup Final being on Sunday 5th October fully 2 weeks before Newcastle qualified for the KO Cup semi final, and I am sure the Panthers will have done their best to gain sponsorship, and sell hospitality for that date. Why should it change?
  14. Too much importance now on getting league matches squeezed in before the play offs cut off, cup matches just get pushed to the side.Workington staged 3 double headers in a row in an effort to get in the play offs, then after Edinburgh won their first three play off matches, Workington got a poor turn out last night, and I am sure it will be even worse in a fortnight against Berwick. Was it worth it???
  15. Was really struggling to get around at all, never once got near a Monarchs rider once the tapes had gone up
