  1. Shovlar talking b@llocks as usual.
  2. Dozens... Quick flick through the fixtures has King missing 3 times and Bates 5. When the Poles rearrange fixtures to suit them, Holder will miss more than a couple
  3. Don't think anyone is trying to say King can be a direct replacement for Holder but IMO King and Bates for Holder and Bailey would be much better. Whereas Holder will get 13/14 (5 rides) per match, Bailey will only get 1 or 2. With King you will get 10/11(5 rides) but with Bates at reserve you could get 6-10pts each meeting. Plus you would have 2 good reserves all season.
  4. Very true. Sky pay over £10 million to the Premier League for every football game they broadcast live.
  5. Is £13 worth it for Brummies fans watching 3rd tier speedway when Bees fans could be watching Premiership riders for £12.50 if they take up the season ticket offer?
  6. Just ignore him. Just let FF/Ouch wallow in his own fake news
  7. As you are so concerned about British riders which riders in both leagues should be dismissed to allow Stefan Nielsen to have 2 jobs? Also which Championship team should sack a rider to give James Sarjeant a place?
  8. Also who will own the lease...and from when?
  9. Just a personal comment by Dave going over the deals/non signing/disagreements pretty much highlighted over the last 2 months. He then says that "reports of the stadiums demise are premature and it can be ready by mid-March. Major items to address include the main Grandstand to H&S standard, while new floodlighting is required although the pylons which previously lay across the greyhound track have now been removed. Shale from the track sits on the infield but the circuit itself is in better condition than winters ago when plans to run a festive speedway meeting had to be shelved due to poor weather and the track issues continued into the season. The Armco barrier remains in place - speedway fences are removed several times a year for the Stox - while the pits and ancillary buildings remain unchanged as do indoor and outdoor toilets. The only realistic hope for carrying out repairs is with Sandhu, as without his involvement the stadium will not run its major monthly stock car events ( stock car promoters effectively own their own dates and can take meetings elsewhere) and would be highly unlikely to be viable with around 20 speedway meetings. Meanwhile Bees have signed a team for the season, but none of those riders or supporters know whether they will have a stadium to race in" I do admire his veiled optimism but this is Sandhu/Horton/Brandon Estates we are talking about, and as I have said before they have zero interest in the club, fans or riders, just their own pitiful interest in one-upmanship.
  10. He was shafted big time by the BSPA... but his pound of flesh this time, are the thousands of speedway and stock car fans who have seen the heart and soul of the club and stadium ripped literally out by him, ably assisted by Horton and Brandon Estates. If by a very small chance we do run, I feel it will be a very hollow place.
  11. I would tell Monster Daz or one of your other aliases you use as a "reliable source" they need to guess harder.
  12. Surely the bar reinstalled is your first priority☺
  13. With the leg room that those seats provided, anyone 6ft 8in tall would not be able to sit
  14. So hard to take in what has happened to the home of the Bees. The soul of the club has been ripped out and it will never be replaced. Mick Horton has dragged this club to what appears to be almost certain closure but Sandhu has played his part, with unwarranted wanton vandalism. Both of these "people" have shown how they have never had any heart in running Coventry speedway and understanding the importance it holds to the many thousands who have supported the club over the decades. They have sh@t upon the club, supporters and riders with no thought or regard for them, apart from trying to gain one up on the other.
  15. Or maybe Horton allegedly offering £1 for all the stadium fixtures and fittings. Either way its 2 pathetic individuals trying to do business and gain oneupmanship. Sad state of affairs.
  16. Quite happy with the 4 declared so far and IF Lewis Kerr is the 5th rider I would class that as a good addition. Danny King 9.57 which saves 0.54 pts from his converted EL average Kenny Bjerre 8.22 one of the bargains on that average and more than capable of exceeding that. Josh Bates 5.02 saving 1.65 pts on his conv EL average Lasse Bjerre 6.64 poor 2016 but still only 24 years old and a proven 8pt PL rider and 6pt EL rider Lewis Kerr 5.98 which saves 0.74pts to his conv EL average. Moving to Scunthorpe he was averaging nearly 7.5pts in the 2nd half of the season As I said, if Kerr is confirmed that leaves 14.57pts for the final 2 riders. Need a 3rd heatleader and Max Fricke or JK would leave 4.5 -5.0 but many of those in that range are pretty ordinary. Please not Sarj as his 5.80 would mean losing 0.5pts against his EL average. My ideal choice for the last 2 would be Chris Holder 12.53 with 16yr old Parkinson-Blackburn on a 2pt average....but zero chance it will happen. So Garrity and Sarj it will be then.
  17. Wrong as usual With the heat format next year it will allow a maximum 62 points to be possibly shared by the heat leaders and thats excluding TR
