  1. What a great team we had, so sad that they couldn't defend title, add Rasmus into the mix too, good times.
  2. More cameras in the pits than on the racing, you'd think eurosport would get better not worse.
  3. What a waste of a track, when you hear about Wolverhampton and Peterborough too, sports in dire straits and the coffin is built of nails.
  4. What a sad state of affairs this whole episode has been, a revamped shape track that was producing great Speedway, a top team who should have been able to defend their titles, now all hoovered up by other clubs, if by some miracle racing was to resume at the abbey (low flying pig alert) they'd have to start from scratch, if greyhounds are running then the owners are missing out on a revenue stream by ending Speedway. Swindon has a lack of leisure facilities as is and those who went to the Speedway are probably lost to the sport, and who is going to travel to this fictional new out of town stadium, the Abbey was easy for eveyone to get to. I have to admit Speedway rarely crosses my mind anymore, how many others are the same.
  5. I guess the rider assets are being picked over by the vultures.
  6. Sounds like the usual, how do you make a small profit in speedway? start with a large pot.
  7. This mythical track within 45 minutes of Swindon is hardly going to entice the lost fans to track that distance for home matches, we had one which was easily reachable, even within walking distance for many, you can smell the bs from every word, perhaps they should stfu and stop trying to conn the good and loyal Robins supporters. They know they've shafted us so trying to get us on side, not working here buddy.
  8. Only said bloody, hardy cause for an apology, but we do live in a nanny state now.
