  5. Track looked very good , not over watered & no dust on a very sunny day. As for young James he looked very good off course the test comes when he is racing 3 other riders & if he can get out of the gate. I was quite impressed .
  6. Its the same old story with a new statement on the official site posted today. Some quotes BIRMINGHAM boss Laurence Rogers remains in talks with ‘several’ riders as he looks to complete his team for the new era of racing at Perry Barr. Rogers, who says he knows the riders he wants, is refusing to panic as he made contact with more riders over the weekend to open up his options. He said: “We’re working hard to sort things out, I can understand everyone wanting news but we have to stay patient until it gets done. “It’s frustrating in many ways but I’m hopeful everything will fall into place soon.”
  7. You are not allowed to use guests or r-r for non existent riders The truth is Rogers is in the poo
  8. Poole fans taking over the Birmingham thread again !
  9. This is a strange post from someone who is listed on the official Birmingham site as the club Photographer & may only visit twice this season. Do you not have that role now Chris ?
  10. And the reason why no meetings on Wed 10th Aug Wed 17th Aug Wed 24th Aug Wed 31st Aug Is ??
  11. So the season virtually finishes by end of July. No fixtures in August when the school kids always swell the attendance during that month. Absolute madness !
  12. The line from the club is " Don't Panic " Well i am .
  13. Don't think he quit wasn't he replaced & no other team came in for him.
  14. It was reported the rent has been increased by 100% ! So if we manage to get through the 2022 season & break even, what happens if the rent is increased for the 2023 season. It's clear the stadium owners just don't want the speedway at Perry Barr by trying to squeeze the club out one way or another.
  15. BIRMINGHAM’S task of overhauling Edinburgh tonight has just been made even harder. Fans’ favourite Paco Castagna has been ruled out with illness and will be replaced by American ace Dillon Ruml. Already 18-points down from the first leg heading into the deciding leg of the Knockout Cup tie with Edinburgh, boss Laurence Rogers admits Castagna’s absence is a big blow. He said: "Paco rang me to say he had bad flu symptoms and was confined to bed. "It's a massive shame he'll miss this one because he has been piling up the points for us at reserve, especially at Perry Barr. "We thank Dillon Ruml for stepping in - he rode really, really well for Plymouth not so long back and we're confident he can come in and do a job for the Brummies tonight." Edinburgh have also been forced into a change of guest at reserve with Dan Gilkes now standing in for Jason Edwards. If Birmingham fail to win by more than 18-points tonight will be the last meeting of the season – and possibly forever unless new owners are found to take over the club from outgoing duo Peter and David Mason.
