same with British league riders championship, that went down hill pretty fast. then got beyond a joke.

i only missed about 4/5 meetings this year and there were 2/3 meetings where i thought it didn't look very good. i was away [when British final was on , watched on my phone and was shocked when i saw that crowd. but we did have a few meetings when crowed was good, not sure if they did a couple of meetings when they gave away tickets to local community.

but most of the stadiums are still at the Doris and bob, stage. tired and worn out.

yes and we all know its the promotors' who have caused this problem, and they are going to struggle to fix it, i be leave its happening in other sports too, moto x, grass track, rugby, the younger generation arnt interested that much in physical sports these days.

its not the fans that have put speedway in this position.

dont know the reasons , but if its down to costs, thats their problem, they are no where near a level where they think they should be making a living out of it. thats the problem today nobody seems to want to do it for the love of it, if you cant survive past the apprenticeship you dont make it pay.

thats the point I'm making riders would have to pay for their own tyre's insurances vans ect,. it shows a lot of money is needed and the public are not willing to pay it.

for a laugh lets throw this out , average crowd 1000, x £20. =£20000 12 riders start money £500, each,=£6000. £100, a point x 90 pts =£9000 leaves £5000. for club to use. rider 12 pts makes £1700. thats what we can afford. thats how i would start again. so dont start what about this and what about that,.

i probably missed 2 meetings all season this year. because on holiday, do love watching the racing there, but will be cutting back next year. sorry to say.

i paid £54 to fly to turkey, cost me £50 to get taxi back home from Manchester airport no more than 10 miles. mental

been some poor crowds at Bellevue this year, dont think some gate receipts covered their costs, only sponsorship been helping the aces out this year i recon.

its just with people throwing riders here there and everywhere, and not knowing the costs involved, gate receipts don not cover it and they are going to be less next season.
