Exactly, so we're hardly saw losers or sour grapes so you're going to have to try something different. How about the fact that his behavior was completely unnecessary? I find it amusing how you're now going to Newport's promotion and something that happened which has nothing to do with this incident. From what I remember, Newport fans have been the first to admit their promotion have made mistakes when they have so again, that doesn't work either. It would be nice if supporters could just admit their manager done wrong and didn't drop to such low levels and reach stages which can almost be classed as racist.

This is exactly what I'm trying to say. It was a Newport meeting so the majority of people who seen it will be Newport fans which a very small amount of Scunthorpe fans who travelled to the meeting. What's the likelihood that they will admit their manager was completely out of line?

I also agree with the original post. I don't see how you can think otherwise. Clearly the ones backing what he done has very little knowledge of the situation and didn't attend the meeting.

I expect Toddy to up his average to 10. Herne with his injury last year might drop it slightly but shouldn't expect much. Around 10 too. what a top two we have. Andrews got better last year, a lot. As did Tom Young and James. Matt Bates has always been pretty good and David Gough should hold his own. Not too bad at all

This ^^ Doesn't feel quite right that Atkin won't be riding for Newport again. He's been great down the years for us, often being the rider that won us valuable meetings for the Wasps when he would usually always come out in heat 14 and win it with no doubt. Hope he has another great year, this time for Stoke, just hope he doesn't expect the Hornets to take it easy on him when he returns.

Well reading comments it seems over the '2 legs' Hornets and Heathens drew. Would have made a great 2 leg meeting. Hornets didn't do too bad then taking everything into consideration. We're going to miss Jones so much though which may cost us a trophy. Hope Webster can come back with a bang. Was looking forward to the Kim and Screen encounters especially under the lights! Was also hoping to go to Stoke tomorrow like many others but the weather isn't looking too good either.

With Raj instead of Dicken it makes Glasgow much stronger. Although I fully expect Newport to get 3 points from this.

Well to pull that win out with only 5 riders for most the meeting is really a champions performance. Priest had a steady return to speedway and shouldn't take long to get back in it and score those valuble points.

I don't quite understand what this post is about.. Werner was dropped for poor form. Lemon was dropped because we needed a big number 1. Owen wasn't signed because he didn't want to be a Newport asset. Hurst just wasn't re signed for this year and same with Hazeldene. Tregoning had visa problems and our team plans had to be changed when Jonas wasn't coming back. Not sure about Mason and Simmons however. But this is nothing more than a TROLL POST! To tell you the truth, there have been hundreds of incidents like this performed by other teams but it seems everyone is quick to slag off the Mallets and just brush it aside when other teams do it.
