A Comets meeting at Exeter was once live on Radio Cumbria, Stoney did pretty good considering he thought the best way to improve it was to blow it up. Can’t remember exactly what the meeting was but if two legged I’d guess Comets got through. Exeter, another of the tracks gone. Never went but did go Long Eaton years ago.

Don’t think Proctor is. I read his collarbone first, then a broken arm, then a hand injury which was also announced tonight. Think he’s out for the weekend, Monday’s maybe a bit early too.

I don’t think the Comets have a good record at the Rye House track in the recent years. We did win the much derided Young Shield in it’s last 3 years, 2008-10, all against Rye House if my memory is right, one year in particular Comets Andre Compton rode well down there when we looked like getting hammered. Much derided or not the Young Shield was a National trophy to be won and there were great nights when we did win it. Hopefully we beat Lakeside tonight and no injuries to either side.

No one was happy with Kevin Doolan as guest last night, let’s not forget his 7pts contributed to our win. Still on a high, fantastic!

Great result, didn’t expect that, and all the riders had a win. I thought more in the stand tonight and more round bends 1 and 2. Fantastic night!!

Obviously hope he does well but he doesn’t usually when guesting for us.

Laura did say a week or two ago that “we can’t do anything til we know about the stadium” or similar, perhaps it may be the case of someone else joining her. I remember Hull winning the league and having to finish cos they had no stadium, sickener for their fans. As always time will tell, everything crossed.
