I think most Lynn fans would have been far more satisfied had the meeting got to heat 10, rather than wasting money on fuel, food, tickets etc for a meeting where the result didn't stand. If they want to see this meeting get a result, they will have to pay another £16 to get in again!! As people have said, it looked doubtful Leicester would have got anything from this meeting anyway. A heat works out about £1.10 so at least £6 should be given off the restaging, for goodwill.

I think the crowd was very large, does anyone know how many people were there? Chris and Scott were very impressive! Regarding the venue, KL for me was a very good choice as it's nearby. It also is a good track and the facilities for watching ensure that you can see well, whether you stand on the steep 'steps' or sit in the grandstand. £35? No thank you! Australia looked very good at the beginning, winning all 3 of the first 3 heats. It was a pleasant surprise to see England, I mean, Great Britain, win. Great performance from the Brits all round

I was very pleased that Chris Holder won it, also. It's nice to have a change, like in 2007. As for Tai, he was actually the highest placed out of the Brit boys, plus he could still have another 20 years left in speedway! He's got time Tomasz was looking very strong, so would have made a good final- Crump, Holder, Hampel and Gollob. In response to others: I think fireworks were good with them coming from the top, but I was waiting for a big finale! Do you think they should scrap the singing pre- match entertainment? Who could they actually get who could really get that kind of crowd 'going', not in the leaving sense . Next year we're talking about doing the three meetings at Somerset, Cardiff then Newport.. Wonder what dates it will be...!

Do you think there WILL be a British rider in next year's grand prix series, I'd have thought that they would have one in there but with Harris an Nicholls currently holding 14th and 15th place their position seems very uncertain . What do you think of Woffinden? Or will we just not have a British rider at all?
