belle view have 2 of the pl top riders and still they cant grind a result out of the meeting..just goes to prove when josh bates is not binning it and punching walls. he can do it. poor performance from the 2 top guys . cook saving himself for the polish league and the odd pl meeting. same old belle vue dross. served up in different dressing.. long season for the aces. just my opinion of course.

think Ricky wells is a wolves asset, so wolves may have priority over worky.

toft cant commit to a full pl season because he lost an important sponsor. thats what he told workington. p/boro need to throw cash or sponsors his way to make it pay.

get your head out of the beano ,dont think m/bra will be too pleased in grabbing their reserve from them. if you are patient, royno will be available in a few weeks time, or better still tofty. juggle a few averages around , you never know. i went on holiday once, then had to take a break to get over the holiday.

enjoyed last night. decent crowd and hoggy,s back.can honestly say the music on the loudspeakers was better than normal , you could hear it.. AS LONG AS YOU WERE STANDING OUTSIDE THE GUS RISMAN IN THE CAR PARK. i have no doubt hoggy was saying some good things in his interview with rusty and during the meeting.. but we didn't hear them.. good to hear Workington raised a few quid for Kenneth,s round things charity.well done to all.. no water bowser last night? (didn't need it) seems we have a good solid top 5 , with nikki and nathen at reserve. special mention to nathen, he stopped on and looked really steady. got his first night nerves out of his system. its all possative at workington this year.( apart from the pa on the 1st and 2nd bends ) any one on gate 1 was at an advantage early on into the meeting. huge advantage . then it fell away. but good meeting in all and look forward to a good season..

thats speedway and sport in general. same with the glorious game called football. only one stand out player , that's harry kane this season in the footy, amongst a HUGE squad of players. speedway will unearth good few more than that,morris,crang, greavea and a few more. so speedway will uncover more talent than footy..so speedway will always be the same . rider movements between clubs gives us a mystery of who will be where. me , i love it, some hate it. we have to live with it.
