at this moment in time, it does not matter what size, shape ,slick or grippy the track is. workington are going to get stuffed big style. with the exception of josh and ricky, all the worky riders are on holiday and have yet to turn up in a race face mode.dont know who tipped us as favourites for the league. maybe a hockey fan, but most certainly not a speedway fan who came to that conclusion...but this is speedway..

anyone want to put on here just how many time auty has been excluded for danderous or unfair riding.. it is not a carrear first for auty.. he done it at workington when he was a kid.. under 16. in a meeting. i think the other rider was joe haines. cant remember who the rider was, but he went on to clean up the starting marsheljust looks like he has not learnt any respect for fellow riders since then..

prices have increased drenaticly from last year from 13 pounds . inc race card/programme.. to a mind blowing 14 pounds, plus free race card/programme. BUT STILL THE CHEAPEST SPEEDWAY IN THE PL AND THE BEST TEAM .LOL. thats the price for ADULTS entry, grandstand or ground. if still unsure go to the official worky web site or the unofficial worky one.. both are run by the promotion, so no fantasy prices..
