  1. I did think it was a ticket Fingers, but it does not look like your average ticket you would get in the UK, that and all the talk of Vouchers got me doubting what I had. Am fairly certain (96%) it is the actual ticket though. cheers. B
  2. Lets get this right, Is it a Voucher or a ticket they posted me? It is a coloured embossed (1/3 of an A4 page) sized like you fold a letter in 3 to fit a standard letter envelope and it has barcode, seat number and sektor A on it... I was assuming this is an actual ticket rather than a voucher?
  3. They are getting the preparations underway at the stadium... Bydgoszcz Stadium Preparations http://www.polonia.bydgoszcz.pl/File/BlogPhoto/Big/1/362.jpg http://www.polonia.bydgoszcz.pl/File/Blog/image/trybuny/trybuny%201.JPG http://www.polonia.bydgoszcz.pl/File/Blog/image/trybuny/trybuny%204.JPG Mod Note: PLease DO NOT post large images on the forum - LINKS ONLY as said before
  4. I don't think Nationalities should come into it, too many Poles or not! This is for the world title and should be the 16 riders deemed to be the best that there is. I think Kolodziej should get the nod.
  5. A wee correction to the train time back to Poznan that I posted earlier... I said 1:30am, the actual time is 1:01am in the morning, and for anyone catching this train, failure to make it will result in you looking for Hotel accommodation in Bydgoszcz (may not be easy considering the GP) for the night as the next one is not until about 8am in the morning. Just thought I'd post that in case I end up getting the blame for someone taking my initial time as gospel and me getting the blame.
  6. Don't see it being a prolem, my fellow Tigers have to put up with me being a Ryan Fisher fan I think they're slowly coming round to the peace an harmony among rivals thing
  7. Hi BlueJam Jack on ul Dluga(main street in the town centre) sounds OK by me Pre-meeting and Rico's shout of Pub Amsterdam sounds like a plan for after the meeting, as it was one that I had looked at. To be honest though, I couldn't find any info on closing times and as some trains away are not until 3am, I was struggling to come up with any confident suggestions of my own. What does everyone think?
  8. I'll have a hunt on the web during my lunch today for a pub with suitable opening hours and I'll post it here to give everyone a target for after the meeting. As I said earlier, it would be good to organise a pub beside the Train Station so that folk can have a beer and then toddle off to their trains as and when they are due to leave.
  9. Don't be silly, wait until after the Italian GP today and if Gollob is likely to win it at his home patch, stick it on Ebay and your looking at £500 to £1000 for it
  10. I think my train back to Poznan is about 1:30am, so probably have a beer with you until then too We should probably organise a pub near the Bydgoszcz train station for everyone to congregate after the GP?
  11. I got my Sektor A ticket in the post this morning, but was just messing about and got onto the Kupbillet site and there were red seats in Sektor A still available, I was offered a 180 Pln Seat in section IX number 4546 and it was in my cart ready for ordering at 12:00am... just before posting this. My advice is keep trying.
  12. Dam footy... my link' gone during the re-run of heat 14... Everyone in Glasgow no doubt trying to Stream the match from Manchester and clogging up my phone line
  13. I can't believe any team with Bomber and Gollob in it are getting beat so convincingly... although Bomber just won heat 7 with Gollob in 3rd for a first heat advantage.... But what about Hancock... could well win the tite in Poland with Zielona Gora and win a Swedish title too?
  14. I changed to this one too... there was a buzzing noise over the Audio of the Sopcast channel. Cheers
  15. Install sopcast and run the programme from desktop shortcut icon which will appear when you install the programme ... simples
  16. Public Sport 2 - wymagany upload 450 kb/s Its on Sopcast in the channel list.... under Polska Extraclasa[1] on the channel above
  17. Thanks for that mate I know the Speedway Star travel club will be running an optional excursion to it from Poznan, where I am staying, so I would imagine that they will have tickets. I am not with the Speedway Star travel club, but am on the same flight so may see if I can just pay for the excursion. Good news that there should be at least no bother getting in though
  18. I have my Bydgoszcz GP ticket, but am trying to find out where to get a Leigh Adams Farewell ticket for Leszno the next day. Does anyone know how to go about this? I have searched the web, but no cigar so far. Regards, Bongo.
  19. Can someone please translate the above post... I can't understand it in the slightest?
  20. I'm not going to say "I told you all so"... Oops I just did it. ...I did say there was only a 10% to 15% of it going ahead early on Friday morning. Not good for us Tiggers though, cos we now have a serious load of fixtures to get through in very little time to do it.
  21. BBC Newport Weather The heavy rain is supposed to arrive about 11:00am through to about 2 or 3pm... It will depend on how much the track gets and how 'drizzly' it is after that.
  22. Shame the weather is looking extremely dodgy in South Wales all day At the moment, I say there is only a 10% to 15% chance that this meeting will go ahead.
  23. In todays newspaper "Speedway - Glasgow Sweating over the fitness of John Branney ahead of their trip to Newport." Had a quick flick through it in the pub and that's all it said... I guess that's why I don't read Newspapers, they don't have much worth reading in them!
  24. So you invite Glasgow Down and then decide on a 'Happy Hour' at the bar !!! ...I guess by the Monday morning, when the bank manager reviews the financial damage to the promotion, this will prove to also be the last meeting ever run under floodlights at Newport.
  25. A huge big well done to Colin Mackie who stood in as Tamworth Manager for an impressive win. I think that Stuart Dixon has a very able deputy in his midst at Glasgow every Sunday. Brilliant win Colin
