The problem also is that the draft has caused a lot of riders to have false averages anyway..................we have seen riders going between being a heat leader to a second string all season because second string riders ride against reserves anyway as much as they do heat leaders..............this is why there are so many riders with averages like Hans, Dak and Davey have................I think with Tier one (can't remember off the top of my head if it applies to tier 2 as well) EL draft riders being allowed an average after 4 meetings is going to be a good thing................it will allow them to mix with the heat leaders more and give more true averages to all the team............ Be interesting to see who else is brought in or brought back............ RP

I think the move will be a good one for Andersen..................his average is roughly the same as Dak's and Davey's and is capable of scoring good points for us............ RP

Here we go again.....................Poole manipulating the rules according to some................not so............. There was a picture of Dak on Instagram the other day with his Dad at the hospital.............go find it if you want proof............came up on FB so not difficult to find..........can't remember who posted it though........... RP

I still doubt he would go anywhere other than somewhere down South............he lives with his brother so unlikely he will go anywhere too far North.............same goes for Brady Kurtz............lives with the Holder brothers and unlikely to go too far North............ RP

As stated earlier in the thread Holder is tied down South for the next season or two due to his visa sponsors............. RP

I would like to see you try and do your job properly knowing that a parent was in hospital half way around the world and you could do nothing about getting there...................put yourself in George Ward's shoes when he first heard about Darcy and not knowing the full extent of what was going on because that is exactly the position Dak was in................. I think I have said this before but when my Dad was seriously ill in hospital before he passed away I was trying to work, run a home, look after my family, be at the hospital with him (including several early hour of the morning calls to get there now as he was unlikely to survive another hour) and look after my Mum............everything especially my work suffered...........I was exhausted and no good to anyone and could barely cope with it all.......and I was only just down the road............how the hell do you think Dak felt being thousands of miles away................ Of course you only want to see the bad side in anything that Poole do..............nothing new there then........... RP

May be I am a Poole fan and have been for best part of 40 years through the good times and the bad............... I am not a fan of the play offs to be honest and it would not have bothered me if Poole had not won unlike some fair weather fans that all clubs get but what annoys me are people who only support a club when they are winning and slag them off when they are not................... As long as the racing is good and the riders stay safe surely that is what matters............of course every fan wants their own team to win but is it really that tragic if they don't.......... Watching the play off final at Poole and being a part of that amazing atmosphere was something but to be honest both teams rode their hearts out and both teams deserved to win...........and I admit to shedding a tear when Kacper won heat 14.............. You are right though..........all teams have to work within points limits its just some are better at it than others.................I never castigated anyone for it by the way........ RP PS I do have fans that are Edinburgh fans however they are like me and there through the good times and the bad

Poole if I remember correctly had a medical certificate for Dak more than 24 hours before the meeting.............the way you are going on if any rider needs an exemption from a meeting at whether they are injured or say for example a family member has passed away then they should give more than 24 hours notice............it does not work like that........... When my father passed away at one in the morning I had to wait until 8 am to tell work I would not be in for a few days while I sorted things out............remember speedway is a job to the rider like working in a call centre is to me.............you cannot predict what is going to happen in your life and when............. Swindon released a statement yesterday saying they are going ahead and that they will start their home fixtures in the new stadium but it is not likely to be ready until end of April/beginning of May............. If there was any element of doubt about it they would have put the licence on ice for a year........... RP

See this is the typical fan view of someone who only likes their team when they win everything in sight..............Can't bear the thought of losing.............might take some of the smugs down a few pegs if they do lose over all..........winning is not everything..................good luck to both teams and whatever the result I hope the racing is good and that all the riders stay safe...............
