You are right, it is a team built on the cheap. It annoys me every year when Kings Lynn never win anything. I am a bad loser and get pissed off when the Stars lose. I will be at trackside in May for the start of the season. Nearly every season I say I am not going to speedway again but every week I go back.

Good to have Riss back, but I can see the Stars being bottom of the league. No doubt we will hear the same old crap from the promotion, about how hard it is to attract riders to ride in this country, and how the team are all keen to kick on and up their averages.

Buster always maintains that Kings Lynn is his priority, but it seems Peterborough can attract better riders than Lynn.

Surely if the Stars management showed some ambition like Sheffield have more fans would be there, which would bring in more £s. Seems like we are back to the olden days where Kings Lynn end up with the riders that no other teams want.

No. The main thing isn’t just getting back on track. I expect the Stars to aim at winning the league by getting the best team possible. I will be pissed off if they start the season way under the points limit.

It’s all very well having loyal club men , but I can’t see them winning any trophies.

It started to go wrong at Lynn when the catch fence was put up around the track. It stopped the fans getting near the riders and killed the atmosphere dead. The meeting referees don’t let riders be characters anymore, people remembered meetings because of the atmosphere even if the racing was dire.

I think that Kings Lynn swapped Lewis Blackbird for Oliver Rayson.

Kinsley is the cheap option. Would still rather have him than basher Bates, as Bates will get injured in the first month of the season.

Hopefully he isn’t an option for Lynn.
